Poe had feelings for Ranpo, but he never admitted them. he was scared to admit he had feelings for him, afraid Ranpo would reject him and leave him. He didn't want his own feelings to ruin their friendship. so then he hid them, he hid his own feelings, locking them up into a bottle and throwing the key away. But what Poe feared most came true. Ranpo never liked him the way Poe did, he saw him as a friend. A friend who's a detective. Someone with the same interest as him. he never saw him as a love interest. just a friend. ------------------------------------------------- Just an angsty Ranpoe fanfic I probably will never finish, please read "Important Information" before reading this story, thank you.

But there are few people who could manage to turn the tables if everything went well. Once their plan is already underway Ranpo finally allows himself some time to relax and read the book Poe sent him. He... finds some contents that he wasn't expecting Alternative ending to the season 2 finale with some tragic Ranpoe
