From a young age, I have always held myself in higher regard than my family did. I believed that I could work anything out. All my classmates were in awe of me. I naturally exerted power over them, and they elected me as class representative time and time again. At home, a baseball bat reminded me to obey my mum every time I tried to prove her wrong. Why was it so hard to see that one plus one equals two? Being beaten and isolated in a sardine can for long periods of time led me to the world of words in the thesaurus to help me cope with my difficult life. However, I no longer recognise the person I have become.......

This journal is a collection of reflections, each capturing a distinct perspective of the writer's inner world. This section, in particular, turns its gaze toward her dreams-those fleeting visions that dwell between reality and reverie. Here, dreams are embodied by the poppy flower: a symbol of beauty and transience, blooming gently within the quiet garden of the mind.

She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. This is a story turned into poem about a heart that didn't mean to fall... not yet, not this young- but did anyway. In the street where storms begin. It starts with a shy hello that feels louder than it should, a glance that lingers too long, and a thousand little moments that shift the ground beneath two ordinary lives. As feelings bloom like wildflowers, so do the fears: the 2 a.m. overthinking, the trembling what ifs, the worry of wanting something fragile too much. But somewhere between the chaos and the hush, a soft truth rises. Love, even the young kind, knows how to be brave. An Oath in Young Love is a tender hymn to first promises - not forever written in stone, but vows whispered with shaking hands and honest hearts. A story about choosing someone in the smallest, sweetest ways... and learning that even imperfect love can feel like a new beginning.

Salt & Honey is a collection of poems about the beauty and ache of being human. Through themes of love, loss, healing, and hope, each piece blends the sting of salt with the sweetness of honey, capturing life's bittersweet moments and the strength found within them. Inspired by my great-grandma, a woman who always saw the positive side of everything, strong as a rock, ready to forgive, always giving. Thank you for everything!
