This book is a collection of letters woven in praise for a woman who is cheerful, charming, and longed for. Based on a true story, it was penned amidst the inner turmoil of temporarily stripping away the physician's robe, and through the shadows of fear when footsteps found themselves trapped, walking within the grip of power.

Dear reader, it hurts. Excruciatingly. To love someone so strongly, and have them abuse that love. Let these poems be warnings; that in loving her, I stopped loving myself. I broke myself. To anyone who has been through hell, and left themselves in it.

What you are about to read is a collection of poems and writings written by Kellin Way (me) that tell true and real life experiences in the form of art. These poems capture very vulnerable moments of my life, very traumatizing moments in my life, that have deeply impacted me as a person. Turning my writings into a book was one of the hardest decisions that I've ever had to make with something so personal to me, but I am very glad that I did it because I am hoping to reach people that have been in similar situations and let them know that they are not alone. If you happen to relate to any of these poems or know anybody that relates to any of these writings, i want you to know that you are absolutely not alone in your battles and that someone on the internet is always here for you. A knight in need of a poet's passion; a poet in need of protection. Emry Allis is a distinguished poet who's frequently hired by the royal family to partake in plays and recitals. In Ether, the arts are well supported and largely enjoyed by the wealthy. Although he lives in high court society, he has little importance outside of his profession. He hopes to make an honorable name for himself, but even in a world of mages and miracles, one should be careful what they wish for. When Emry's name is passed around in whispered conversation, his reputation is not all lost.
