Mercy is easier when the world isn't starving. if survival demands cruelty everytime, then what actually survives? The world did not end with fire. It ended with petals that can pierce flesh. Power does not corrupt the heart, it merely removes the the curtains hiding it Even the purest flower drinks from graves beneath its soil. Do everything can be a miracle gifted by the nature? Or merely a curse? Hope is a candle that survives by teaching itself how to burn slowly. Let us ponder in a world where a garden does not ask permission before it devours the ruin beneath it. ----------------------------------------------------------------- [ IMPORTANT NOTICE: "Some" parts of this story is written in a poetic and philosophical style. Some dialogues, symbols, and meanings may not be immediately understood, as they are to be felt as much as they are read. The world within these pages speaks in silence, metaphors(some), and emotion. Interpretations may differ from person to person - and that is part of the story itself. Read slowly. The garden does not bloom for hurried eyes] ---------------------------------------------------------------- [Warning: This story contains violence, grief, and moments of human cruelty. Not all wounds in this world are made by monsters.] ----------------------------------------------------------------- Author's Note: This story was born from silence, ruin, and the strange beauty of survival. Thank you for stepping into the garden. -----------------------------------------------------------------

"Everyone knows that there is night and day. A light and a dark. A sun and a moon. What most people don't know is that this fact was not always true. Long, long ago, the world was in a forever twilight. Everything was beautiful and harmonious. Flowers in vast meadows bloomed and waves on the peaceful shores quietly lapped the sandy beaches. Everything was perfect. There was no light or dark, no night or day, but there was a sun and moon, and their names were Xihe and Changxi. The two young goddesses were the best of friends, most likely because they were twin sisters. They were born from the sky, gifts to the world, bringing this twilight rule upon the earth. That is, until they get jealous and nearly burn the would down in their war. Will they be able to over come their pride to save the world? Or will hubris end them all?

Dear Diary, Today, I remembered that crowns are not made of gold. They are made of survival. They are forged from girls who were told to be quiet but learned to speak. From women who were told to be less but became more. From hearts that broke, healed, and found the courage to beat louder than before. They called her dramatic when she spoke. Difficult when she questioned. Rebellious when she refused to bow. So she picked up a pen. the Queen Diaries is not a story of princesses waiting to be saved like damsel in distress. It is a collection of poetic diary entries written by queens - queens who were never given thrones, only battles. Queens who have been silenced, underestimated, broken, healed, and reborn. Through intimate confessions, silent battles, fierce rebellions, and quiet moments of hope, these pages explore feminism, womanhood, identity, resilience, self-love, and the lifelong journey of becoming. These are not merely poems. They are confessions. They are revolutions. They are crowns woven from words. Each entry is a fragment of a kingdom built from courage. Some pages carry heartbreak. Some burn with rage. Others bloom with healing and hope. Together, they tell the story of women refusing to shrink themselves for the comfort of others and discovering that their power was never something the world could give - or take away. This is not a diary of fairy tales. It is a diary of survival. Of resistance. Of becoming. So, turn the page. You may find pieces of yourself between the lines. Because every scar is a chapter. Every voice is a revolution. Every woman is a queen. Welcome to the Queen Diaries. A queen is waiting to tell her story. Perhaps, she is you.

Miriam has spent her life moving - between worlds, between identities, between the woman she was with River and the woman she became without him. Now married to Stone and raising her two sons, she wakes one morning from a dream that changes everything. River is not gone. He has simply changed form. What follows is one woman's journey through grief, love, and the thin places between worlds - from the ordinary magick of a kitchen at breakfast to the night sky of deep meditation, from the sacred ritual of morning smoke to the stars that sing her name back to her. This is not a love story about a man and a woman. It is a love story about the Love that holds everything - patient, kind, eternal. And one woman's remembering that she was never separate from it. Remembrance is calling. Do you sense it too? LISTEN. And remember what is.

Living with cystic fibrosis is like breathing through a straw. Always struggling to get air. Hospital rooms. IV poles. A lifetime of "6 feet apart." But amidst the endless meds and hospital visits, there's Dr. Hale - calm, kind, and determined to keep her alive. He was supposed to be different. He was supposed to be just her doctor. The man who memorized how she likes her coffee. But when you're fighting to breathe, you notice the person fighting with you. And what happens when the one person who understands your every breath becomes the one you can't breathe without? Now, the one person who knows how to keep her alive is the one thing that might kill them both. Some loves are against protocol. This one is against time._ ---

Unravelling You Iya thought finals were her biggest worry. Until one question-"What's your greatest desire?"-sparked a haunting spiral of melody, memory, and silence. Levi, her childhood rival turned seatmate, carries truths too heavy to speak. Kiara's name lingers in dreams. But this isn't just their story. Rhianne's laughter, Jeremy's quiet pain, Vanessa's hidden wounds- Each character holds a verse in a song about healing, secrets, and courage. Hindi lang ito kwento ng pag-ibig. Ito ay kwento ng trauma, ng musika, ng mga lihim na binubulong sa gabi. When whispers become lyrics, and wounds become choruses- Will they unravel their truths before the silence consumes them?

The world under heaven, after a long period of division, must unite; after a long period of union, must divide. The Han flame flickers in the wind. By the sixteenth year of Jian'an, the north has bowed to the towering ambition of the Prime Minister, Cao Cao. From the ruins of the Central Plains, the Kingdom of Wei has begun to rise like a dragon from the mist, yet the path to total peace is choked by thorns. To the West, the lions of Liang Province sharpen their spears, and at Tong Pass, the fate of the earth hangs by a single silken thread. One victory will cement a dynasty; one defeat will shatter the world. Into this crucible of blood and iron steps Boze of Wuwei. He is no ordinary scholar of the Classics. For three generations, his kin have gathered the forgotten wisdom of the Silk Road-scrolls of strange scripts and relics of distant empires where the West meets the East. Carrying a mind forged in the fires of two worlds, Boze arrives as the chosen ward of the "Poisonous Strategist," Jia Xu. Bound by an ancestral promise, the elder master prepares his protege to navigate a sea of predators. But Boze does not dream only of conquest. Though he must lead men into the maw of legend and clash with the giants of the age, his heart harbors a vision unseen since the dawn of time. He seeks to bind the wounds of the land not with the blade alone, but through the profound alchemy of diplomacy and the soul. From the grim slaughter of the mountain passes to the shadowed corridors of power-joined in spirit by a stalwart guardian of law and a brilliant spark of the southern fire-Boze will guide a new generation. By the year 220, the blood of the Three Kingdoms shall water the seeds of a new era. In the ancient capital of Luoyang, a Philosopher-King shall rise, and a Renaissance shall bloom from the ashes of war.

Life can sometimes give you lemons, often you can feel like a menace to society, more importantly to your own self. Life is always black and white. There is a hope that blooms in my heart, wanting to capture the true colors. But time to time that feels impossible. Until I saw you. You were my color in a field full of sunflowers. All those colors where only black and white but you.. I saw you in all colors. That day felt like a new start, the start of the innocence of 29 days. This is my first book, written from a place of emotion, memory, and quiet longing. Any kind of support means more than you know. Feel free to leave your thoughts - I'd love to hear how the story made you feel. I hope you find a part of yourself in these pages.

Light of Sight _English version of Noor-e-Basar_ In a world where shortcuts steal the beauty of long roads, three lives collide. *Zulekha* - a girl who changes herself for the man she loves, wearing her first lipstick just to see if he notices. *Janzaib* - torn between guilt, memory, and a promise he never meant to make. *Azar* - the man who owns an empire, but is poor when it comes to matters of the heart. One glance at a clinic. One white pair of jhumkas. One vow broken after 3 years. Sometimes the light you chase is not meant for you. And sometimes the darkness sees you better than anyone. A story of love, betrayal, _"majazi khuda"_, and the price of choosing the wrong path. _Will they find their way back to the light?_ Will each of them find their own Light of Sight?

The Bloody Girl's Sadness is a concept album that follows Lucy, a young musician whose life is forever changed by love, grief, and the people she cannot hold onto. Across seven chapters, she navigates heartbreak, impossible love, memories that refuse to fade, and the quiet battle between hope and acceptance. From the moment she meets Julian, a man who inspires her to see the world through art and music, to the painful realization that some love stories are never meant to last, Lucy slowly learns that not every wound is meant to heal. While Julian disappears believing he is protecting her, Lucy is left searching for answers, turning every unanswered question into another song. As the album unfolds, love is shown through different perspectives: the dream of a future that never happened, the ache of loving someone at the wrong time, the guilt of leaving, and the loneliness of surviving memories that still feel alive. Every chapter reveals another piece of Lucy's story until it becomes clear that The Bloody Girl's Sadness is not just about losing someone, it is about mourning every version of yourself that disappeared alongside them. It is a diary written in blood, memories, and melodies, where every song is another page of a girl trying to rebuild herself after losing pieces of who she used to be.

The world runs on a lie of stability. For generations, the Guardians have scrubbed the records, smoothed the contradictions, and redirected the curious to ensure humanity never looks down. They believe that as long as the system remains internally consistent, the truth doesn't matter. But a single discrepancy has slipped through their filters-a thought that refuses to resolve, a pattern that matches the dying of the stars. As the pressure beneath reality begins to resonate with the cooling heavens, the boundary between containment and contact is thinning. The truth isn't coming for the world; it has always been here, waiting for someone to finally notice.

Welcome to Poetry Roughbook. Not every poem begins as a masterpiece, and this one was never meant to be. Poetry Roughbook isn't a collection of perfect poems. Instead, it's a notebook of crossed-out lines, midnight thoughts, coffee stains, and messy drafts where ideas bloom, metaphors wander, and words slowly learn how to breathe. Every poem in these pages is based on prompts shared by Wattpad's Poetry Ambassadors. Each prompt is an invitation to experiment, challenge my creativity, and discover new ways to tell a story through verse. Some poems are polished. Others remain beautifully unfinished. Together, they capture a journey of learning, growing, and finding beauty in imperfection - one prompt, one page, and one poem at a time. This is a place for first attempts, quiet victories, imperfect metaphors, and poems that simply wanted to exist. So, if you don't mind a little mess, a little magic, and a lot of ink... Turn the page. I hope these pages feel a little like home. All poems are original unless stated otherwise. Prompt credits belong to their respective creators.

[3rd Best Prose Poem in the Summer Poetry Awards] Tides of the Soul is a poetic, reflective novel about healing, self-discovery, and learning to let go of what no longer serves us. Just like the tides that carry away the old to bring in the new. Life moves like the ocean, always shifting, always changing. We hold on to pain like stones in our pockets, weigh ourselves down with the ghosts of what could have been, and let the past pull us under like an unforgiving current. But what if we chose to surrender? What if we let the waves cleanse us, let the tide carry away our burdens, and trusted that what is meant for us will always return? Through lyrical prose and deep introspection, Tides of the Soul takes you on a journey of release, acceptance, and renewal. A story of breaking free from the weight of yesterday and learning to embrace the ebb and flow of life. Like the ocean, we are meant to move, to change, to let go. And maybe, just maybe, we are meant to be free. #5 in INSPIRATIONAL out of 11.5K stories

what drew your attention to this book? was it the delicate red rose on the cover? ... or was it its thorns? yes, the rose is daintily alluring, but you will only notice the thorns once you take a closer look. i like to imagine my poetry as this thorned rose, my carefully arranged words as its delicate petals: its beauty seemingly pleasing from afar. however, once you take a closer look, you will gradually see the thorns: a deeper and darker meaning disguised behind enriched metaphors. looking at the rose, you would also notice how it is hand drawn, denoting the fact that my poetry might not be perfect. it is intentionally written with some incorrect grammar (for instance, how almost all words are in lowercase) to give a more raw feel in the sense of how one may write down in a personal diary. the name "the rose comes with thorns" is not only an embodiment of my poetry writing style, but also the meaning behind it. just like how everything beautiful comes with its own flaws... ...the rose shall come with its own thorns. 🥀THE ROSE COMES WITH THORNS a poetry book written by huma zafar. #1 in "poem" out of 206k stories (2/5/24) #18 in "poetry" out of 336k stories (1/6/24)
