Not every book submitted here will be nominated, only nominated books are eligible of prizes and for winning. The growing amalgamation of cosmic poetics. I reflect my visual motivations through words in order to express existence as I experience it. This poetry revolves around things that seem to flow in and out of my mind. Emotions out of context are well represented I'm rediscovering myself in each poem. Tired of trying to be everything. Trying to be perfect. Wrong paths and wrong people and missed opportunities. Am I letting my mental illness take over my life? A look into the mind of a BPD, Anxiety ridden woman. With no identity but her Panic. With my ways it's hard to keep down anything healthy, relationships that don't last but stay with me like my own personal demons. And evil around the corner you'd never see coming. The pain changes you. Trauma changes you. It strips you away from yourself. BPD strips away your identity sometimes I guess this is my way of finding myself again, through writing and reflecting and realizing it is okay to be hurting. My entry to The Attys 2012. We need to climb the wall in front of us to see what's on the other side of it. This poetry was my ladder when I felt alone, rejected, lost and hurt (during my teenage years). Letting people know what you feel can be challenging but it is worth the try especially if it will help save you.

This award is arranged solely for the soulful poets, the ink of whose have drawn an Adobe of emotions within words so immaculate, that even a novel falters before the meticulous portrayal of the flaming emotions.

One day the parasite in my chest That scratches and pest Will eat its way out & leave me to rest O N G O I NG 2018
