"A soft heart like the pattern of life, beautiful memories to live by..." A collection of pieces of poetry that I composed with my heart over the years. From all about love to heartbreak, to death and grief, and scattered diversities. I'm just one of many or thousands. This isn't just some simple poetry. This is a kaleidoscope of creativity, deep thoughts, wonders, truth, and stray words created into poems, all wrapped into one collection. This is my book of poems; composed pieces of my heart. *Complete, but may add new pieces here and there when new pieces are written or if an old piece I'd written growing up is found, it will be shared.* Award Mentions: *Round 3 Qualifiers Part 2 in the Amby's 2025 Contest*

These are truths I was never taught to speak. Here lie the words I swallowed, the pain I buried, and the questions they told me not to ask. For the unheard. For the unseen. For the ones who feel too much in a world that tells them to feel less. I write for you. I write for me.

Have you ever felt like the problem in every room you enter? Like your presence is too loud, your silence too heavy, As if you makes others uncomfortable enough to leave? Laid to Rest: Whispers from the Edge of Pains is a raw and poetic reflection on what it means to carry wounds that never heal, to seek peace in a world that misleads your silence, and to question your place among those who once claimed to care. This collection speaks for the ones pushed aside, blamed, and left behind, those who feel everything too deeply. If you've ever been made to feel like you're "too much", or "not enough" these verse will sit beside you like a quiet companion and say: I SEE YOU.

The Inventory of Silence.. (a working progress) "How much can a man carry before the engine breaks in two?" We are masters of the "fine." We trade in iron masks, and stoic nods while the truth remains buried in the shadows. The Inventory of Silence is a real, unapologetic accounting of the things men don't say. It strips away the bravado to reveal the crushing weight of the quiet hours. These poems are for the men who are tired of holding it together-and for everyone who needs to know they aren't alone in the dark. The silence is heavy. It's time to put it down. - Pete

Romance, hurt, and a hole in the gut. 16 personal poems of mine that nobody has seen, and are based off of my own hurt and personal experiences. Interpret them how you wish. I write in my head a lot of the time, I say tricky things that hardly make sense which is partly why poetry is so hard to write down. I sit and stare at the words I have written trying to figure out how to make it readable, but the thing I like is that it's the words in poetry that sometimes shifts a perspective, not just the meaning behind it. The choice of words or what order they're in, not quite grasping what any of it could possibly mean so you can keep that poem for yourself to interpret it as you wish. I love it. It's using words in the most peculiar way, and twisting them so they melt down into a feeling rather than something you read.
