Not part of "The Human Ache Series" This is a poetry book that is completely personal. I write poems to help cope with feelings. And the book I'm currently writing has a specific theme so I can't exactly vent in it. So you can consider this book a vent poems book. The poems in this are free verse poems (or sometimes rhyming) where I just rambled about how I was feeling. I might professionally organize this book once it finishes but I do not intend to now so it'll not have any intros or symbolism explanations for now. I'll just use it to write my feelings when I'm overwhelmed (which I am very often). You may not take it seriously or even consider it a part of my writings so far. I might also use this book to write poems for contests and stuff in the future.

These poems are all for them: to relieve the aching, to stop the itching. In this way, I hope to stay a little bit longer and touch the hearts of people feeling the same way.

Oh, to be Twenty in the Twenty-Twenties is a raw poetry collection about love, longing, heartbreak, mental health, self-doubt, survival, and the strange ache of growing up in a world that asks you to become yourself before you even know who that is. Split between Echoes of Love and Lust and Echoes of Pain and Introspection, this collection moves through the highs of desire, the tenderness of being seen, the devastation of being hurt, and the quiet strength it takes to keep going. These poems explore what it means to want deeply, break silently, heal imperfectly, and search for connection in the chaos of young adulthood. For the romantics, the overthinkers, the unseen, the heartbroken, and anyone who has ever whispered, are you okay? while hoping someone would ask them the same. A poetry collection for anyone learning how to feel everything and still survive it.

There are two circles of light in the sky. One shines in sunlight. The other hides in moonlit dark. Sol is you-busy, restless in the daylight. Luna is your shadow-lurking, unfolding through the night. What if these two combines? Will they share stories worth telling? From above the sea, they observe the Earth. Will you look for the story you seek? This is a compilation of poems woven from emotions, imagination and reality. Dive into the world where you can relate-or simply read, and feel that you are there as a witness. Are you ready to uncover the Earth's truth? Or something more than that? ___________________________________________ :: all images used are from pinterest.

Welcome, fellow writers! I host monthly contests as a way to support the writing community. All are welcome to participate no matter what stage of your writing journey you are on. These contests take place across multiple platforms (Neobook, Booksie, Wattpad, and Underground Bookshelf). Winners are invited to have their work featured on Underground Bookshelf. You can learn more about UB at https://www.underground-bookshelf.com/ (As of writing this, the Neobook website and app have been down for several weeks, so it is best to submit through Underground Bookshelf, Wattpad, or Booksie.) If you are a winner of one of the monthly contests, please make sure I have your bio, the name you would like to be credited under, pronouns, and content warnings (if applicable). This will help me when I go to feature your piece on Underground Bookshelf. Please visit the chapter dedicated to the month/prompt you are submitting to for rules and deadlines. Depending on the prompt, the contest may be open to poetry, short stories, flash/microfiction, first chapters, excerpts, short memoirs, or a combination of several. Please also refrain from submitting fanfiction (for copyright reasons) and work containing egregious violence or sex (I'm not set up for age restrictions on Underground Bookshelf). To submit your work, drop the link and title in the comment section of the contest/chapter you are participating in. If you have any trouble doing this (sometimes Wattpad gets a little glitchy), you can email these to me at contact.undergroundbookshelf@gmail.com. Thank you so much for submitting your work to these contests! I always look forward to reading submissions. I can't wait to read your work!

I religiously search for new rhymes in the day, but they only ever come running to me at night. Mostly writing about love, sometimes about the joys and pains of my foolish life. Always in structured rhyme, old school, I know. This is a compilation of all the poems I write in English (a first!), usually for some contest in allpoetry as well. You can consult my profile there: https://allpoetry.com/Pablo_Fernandez I don't mind at all constructive criticism and correction on grammar mistakes, this is not my first language.

Thank you for taking your time to read my short poems. I truly appreciate it! If I were to explain my poems I would say they have a gothic element but are also very honest and raw. My poems are filled with different emotions and are usually written when I am full of emotions. Writing has been one of my greatest escape which is why my poems might be sometimes dark sometimes light. I am always open to hear your thoughts or read your comments about my work. With love, Bambi

Sometimes it's easy to pretend to be someone else. Someone happy, someone whole, someone fixed, someone flawless... but we all are perfectly flawed, and it's that very same broken part of us we flee from that makes us unique. This is a collection of poetry. This book is the confession of a girl who's happy on the outside, broken on the inside.
