In the garden of silence, you bloomed like a secret the heart was always meant to find.

heartfelt expression of emotional pain and self-discovery. It portrays the aftermath of a toxic relationship, using the imagery of dead, wilted roses to symbolize a love that has withered and is beyond repair. The narrator reflects on how they gave everything to the relationship, only to be left broken, betrayed, and emotionally drained. Despite their efforts to "fix" things, they realize they can no longer save the other person, and ultimately, they must let go of a relationship that has left them feeling invisible and worthless.

Between the Lines is a collection of poems where I dive into the moments that aren't always spoken, the feelings that are tucked away just out of reach. It's about the things I've felt but couldn't say, the silent spaces that hold more meaning than the words themselves. These poems are my heart laid bare, capturing the truths I've found in the quiet places between the lines.

Because we live in a broken, fallen world, the feeling of wanderer is easy to come by. And the broken world does not necessarily become easier for the one who becomes God's child. You have probably had at least one season (if not multiple seasons) where you felt as a "wanderer". You live and walk through life moment by moment, day by day, year by year and yet find that you're not sure where you're headed and feel like you carry your cross and struggle with life, alone. Yet all of this must find its end at the feet of the redeeming hope of God's truth. For the Christian, this feeling is deeper because he knows that, despite the unknown and uncertain life and future that stretches before him, he is not really walking through life aimless, helpless and directionless but rather being led and guided by the unseen God; the Father in Heaven. I have written this book to share with any and all those who feel like they're alone in their life and their walk after God. In my imperfect poetry and heart, I have sought to reflect and display this truth of God: That we have tangible hope (assurance) to have and hold in this life and keep us in our walk before Him. If you have seen the path before you as uncertain... If you have found yourself a lonely and struggling traveler through life... Or have felt yourself like a leaf being carried by an unseen wind... Then my book is for you. You've lost people, places, and pieces of yourself along the way, and sometimes it feels like there's no one to notice or understand. But even when your mind is hazy and your heart heavy, there's a spark inside that refuses to die - a flicker of strength that keeps you moving forward. This poem is for anyone who has felt alone in their own head, who has screamed into the void, who has survived another day when it felt impossible. You are not invisible. You are not forgotten. You are still here, still fighting, and that matters more than anyone can tell you. Even in the storm, even in the haze, you are enough. And some days, surviving is the bravest thing you can do."
