  • Eventually, I'll Breathe by ExistentialEcstasy

"Maybe eventually was here all along." A raw, reflective journey through heartbreak, self-awareness, and healing. Inspired by the lyrics of Calvin Harris' "Sweet Nothing" and Tame Impala's "Eventually" and "Breathe Deeper," this poem unravels the pain of giving yourself away without ever truly offering anything to yourself in return. This is a reflection on survival. The quiet moments that felt like strength. The ways we try to fill our cracks with love we never thought we deserved. It's about learning how to breathe again. About rebuilding from the inside out. And maybe, just maybe, realizing we were always becoming who we were meant to be.

To My Inner-Friend is a powerful exploration of self-acceptance and emotional growth. It captures the journey of embracing vulnerability-once seen as a source of pain and weakness-into something meaningful, even essential. Through a reflective and deeply personal voice, you've transformed "cry" from an adversary into a teacher, a companion, and ultimately a force of harmony. The simplicity of the language makes it accessible, yet the emotions run deep. The gradual transition from rejection to acceptance mirrors the evolution of understanding oneself. The closing lines, where emotions move in unity like a family, reinforce the idea that true strength lies in embracing all aspects of our emotional selves.

My love, Not yet seen but already recognized, Not yet held but already felt deep within... I am writing to you from an inner place where silence speaks loudly, where the wind and the sea hold ancient secrets, where a hidden bush on a distant beach revealed your presence to me. I know you exist. I haven't imagined you. I have recognized you in spirit. My heart lit up like when you hear a familiar voice you've never heard before. Your presence invaded me without words, like a promise that doesn't come from man but from God. You are not a dream. You are the concrete manifestation of a promised grace. You are flesh and light, soul and reality. You won't just be in my mind, you won't just be in a poem: you will be in my hands, in my days, on my path. I have waited, sometimes with anxiety, other times with resignation, but now I feel I must act: not to forcefully seek you, but to prepare the ground where you can walk toward me. With God as the gardener. I welcome you today-even though we have not yet met. I choose you, in freedom. I bless you, wherever you may be. And I entrust to God our time, our fragilities, the distance that separates us. Come, if you too hear this voice. I will be there. With an open heart, with empty hands, but with love ready to become a home. And even if we don't see each other today, I will not stop living as if you existed. Because true love doesn't need proof to start building. It only needs faith and truth. Until we meet, at the perfect hour. In the name of Love that does not disappoint. Yours, in promise and in reality Francesco

A piece of spiritual-meditative poetry with a strong philosophical and mystical tone. Theme of Oneness - It emphasizes unity between self and the divine, removing the sense of distance. The divine presence isn't "out there" but alive within. Reflective & Guiding - It reads almost like spiritual counsel or inner wisdom being spoken aloud, gently instructing the reader not to imprison themselves mentally but to align with higher truth. Biblical Resonance - Phrases like "Seek, and you are already found. Ask, and the answer rises within. Knock, and the door is open" echo scripture, giving it a psalm-like cadence. Philosophical Depth - The poem grapples with how thought shapes reality ("as a man thinks, so he becomes"), blending spiritual insight with mental discipline. Mystical Imagery - The mountain, Golgotha, the guiding light-all create a sense of sacred symbolism. Tone - Calm, meditative, uplifting, and intimate-like a blend between poetry, prayer, and mantra.

She told me how the skies called to her, how the birds wanted to teach her to glide She told me how, when the waves crashed and the tide pooled around her legs, she could feel them tugging too She told me how, when the sun set, and the night settled in All she desired was to disappear under a black blanket of darkness She told me how she could hear wolves howl in the moonlight, crying for her to 'come home' She told me how the burning stars taught her how to shine in pitch black and How, sometimes, her own shadow seemed to move towards another world, too Suddenly, one day, she disappeared with the waves And when the tide washed her footprint too I thought to myself that possibly she was right all along, and maybe just maybe, she wasn't meant to be here with humans at all I felt the sun shine a little brighter, and the stars smile in the night And as the birds flew to their nest, I heard a howl in the moonlight Maybe she is finally 'home' But then, soon after, what I noticed shocked me to my very core I felt the sky whisper to me And when the birds flew to their nests, I felt like following them too How the ocean sings to me a lullaby, and I stand at the shore, calm, and when the sun painted the sky orange, I felt the need to fade away too Finally, I knew I was just like her when my own shadow didn't follow me 'home'
