Poems about waiting on the Lord to fulfill His promise and your purpose "Trust in the Lord , and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord , And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord , Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. Rest in the Lord , and wait patiently for Him..." ~Psalms 37:3-‬7 "...Then you will know that I am the Lord , For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me." ~Isaiah 49:23

Because we live in a broken, fallen world, the feeling of wanderer is easy to come by. And the broken world does not necessarily become easier for the one who becomes God's child. You have probably had at least one season (if not multiple seasons) where you felt as a "wanderer". You live and walk through life moment by moment, day by day, year by year and yet find that you're not sure where you're headed and feel like you carry your cross and struggle with life, alone. Yet all of this must find its end at the feet of the redeeming hope of God's truth. For the Christian, this feeling is deeper because he knows that, despite the unknown and uncertain life and future that stretches before him, he is not really walking through life aimless, helpless and directionless but rather being led and guided by the unseen God; the Father in Heaven. I have written this book to share with any and all those who feel like they're alone in their life and their walk after God. In my imperfect poetry and heart, I have sought to reflect and display this truth of God: That we have tangible hope (assurance) to have and hold in this life and keep us in our walk before Him. If you have seen the path before you as uncertain... If you have found yourself a lonely and struggling traveler through life... Or have felt yourself like a leaf being carried by an unseen wind... Then my book is for you. So grasp the Father's tender hand and let Him lead you through the shadows and light of your life...through His valley of vision. === Cover Art by Maria Oosthuzien (South Africa) [Facebook, Instagram, Google Images]

Poems about what I lost...and what He restored and redeemed "For the Lord's anger is but for a moment. His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning." ~Psalms 30:5 "Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you- The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month. The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. "So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame." ~Joel 2:23‭-‬26

Through time shadows have been used in writing to display imagery of darkness. They have been used to capture feelings of uncertainty, deceit, negativity, and shame. On my journey this far I have danced with uncertainty, sat with deceit, ran from negativity, and slept with my shame. This book will take you on a journey through all these representations of shadows. It's going to show how I never stepped out of my darkness, I stepped into it. I danced with my darkness. I turned all my shadows into beautiful silhouettes. I hope you use these poems and words to find healing within yourself. There is always light, so shine brightly.

We are walking every day on a winding path or course, wearing a blindfold where we cannot see where we are going. We are just running because time is, so we must, too. There were times we thought we had a desired destination to which we strive to reach no matter how tough the roads are, but sometimes we felt lost or we just don't have a specific goal yet. Either way, we wander aimlessly without an urgent destination. Mirror Meandering: Disintegrated Lines is a collection of poems I wrote about wandering. This was based on my personal experiences, which I interpreted and turned into a poem that I hoped could resonate with the readers, be loved by them, and inspire them in life or in writing a poem or their personal story, too, in the medium they love. So come on, let's explore and be lost together.

Love isn't something you could make someone feel, it's something that one feels themselves.
