When Poe Dameron finds himself on the remote planet of Lok - injured, hunted by the First Order and without back up - he is saved by a street thief named Cassia. Realising the young woman could be a dead ringer for the missing crown princess of the Aquilean System, Poe hatches a desperate escape plan. With unforeseen consequences for him... and for Cassia.

The First Order have been defeated. Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa are gone. Upon the eve of such colossal victory the New Republic has started to take back its dominion over the galaxy. While Rey disappears after hearing a voice in the Jedi Temple, Poe and Finn set to work to rebuild the war-torn galaxy. But many foes, obstacles, missions, adventures - and even a Revolution - makes that goal become complicated. But even under such hardship could potential love finally blossom for Poe Dameron? And could Finn become truly one with the Force? And through their many adventures familiar faces from across all of the Star Wars galaxy may appear to help. First part first published on December 19 2020 - one year after release of The Rise Of Skywalker. This has just been something I've been writing for a while to pass the time during lockdown of 2020. For that reason the prose is simple but it's easy to digest. And note that I began writing the bulk of this long before Season 2 of the Mandalorian. Minor things have been since changed to keep with continuity but larger plot points that are difficult to alter that clash with continuity may remain. Also I don't own Star Wars ... so don't sue me Disney - you have enough money Also also if you like any of my original characters please ask if you want to use them. That is when she meets Poe Dameron, a confident pilot whose job it is to protect her. Poe and Marcella disagree about almost everything but something keeps her close to him. Takes place before the events of The force awakens. Kai Jenkins is a Resistance Captain/ Jedi in training before The New Jedi order is destroyed and her life is changed forever. ----------- "Black Leader, do you copy?!" I yell through the microphone in my helmet. Chaos is ensuing all around me and I am frantically moving my head to search for the familiar black x-wing but the tie fighters and other rebellion fighter ships are surrounding my view and I can't find it. A few green shots coming from an enemy fighter nearly miss my ship and blast over my head. I Quickly maneuver my ship upwards and slowdown as suddenly as I can, allowing a Tie fighter that was trailing me to shoot narrowly past my ship. I quickly target it, pressing the weapons button on my flight stick and in a matter of seconds my blasters are hitting his engines and he loses control, taking another tie fighter with him and they hit the hull of the star destroyer in a fiery explosion. I Smile brightly at the small victory before my smile falters and I huff in frustration at the failed communication attempt before, I try the radio again, this time more urgency showing through my voice and my brain makes me imagine the worst has already happened. "Black leader?! Do you copy??!" The commlink remains static for a few seconds and I flick the comms switch on my dash a few times to make sure it was still operational. "This is black leader, Copy Gold Leader." I let out a sigh of relief. "Thank God Poe I thought I saw you get hit." "You can't get rid of me that easily sweetheart."

Set shortly after the events in Episode Nine, Rey is trying to rebuild the Jedi. Poe is with Rey on Tatooine when he meets Kyra Kenobi, the granddaughter of Obi Wan.

Even though we both know we're liars And we start each other's fires We just know that we'll be alright Katerina Metonae knew three things to be true: Heartbreak was her best friend. She would always do what was right. And the First Order had to burn. Joining the Resistance after finishing school and her break from the world of politics was easy. Even getting her teams to trust in her role as colonel to the Resistance Navy was easier than working alongside the flyboy commander for one of her best squadrons. How do storm troopers actually feel underneath the mask? DL-0523 feels terrible. She doesn't like where she is, physically and mentally, yet doesn't feel like she has the power to change her situation. That is, until she meets another trooper who feels the same way and together they hatch a plan to get away from the First Order. Everything is going great, that is until she finds herself stranded on a desert planet with this guy she barely knows yet feels like she could tell anything to. . . . In other words, a storm trooper who falls for the Rebel Pilot.
