Like water, soil, and sun, can you nurture me? Nasrin "Rin" Rivers grows things for a living. She's a broke twenty-four-year-old gardener raising her sick younger brother in a cramped apartment overflowing with plants, the only thing in her life she can control. Not her addict mother, not her father's absence, and definitely not the stack of bills growing faster than her plants. So when she wakes up half naked and hungover in a mansion she could never afford to walk past, she knows she's hit a new low. What she doesn't expect is the owner: Emiliano Valderrama, a stunning and infuriating Colombian heir with a reputation for being untouchable...and a clear memory of the night she can't remember. She thinks their chaotic encounter is over-until the next morning, when she learns the mansion belongs to the same man behind the high-paying gardening job she just applied for. Their accidental collision spirals into a sharp, intoxicating push-and-pull as Rin discovers the world behind his gates is full of secrets, obsessions, and dangers that bloom like nightshade. Caught between survival, family loyalty, and a man who terrifies her almost as much as he draws her in, Rin must decide whether Emiliano is just another beautiful poison, or something worth risking everything for. Rin knows how to handle dangerous growth. She can prune it, shape it, survive it. But Emiliano Valderrama? He's something she's never learned to control. And in his world, nothing is planted by chance.

Set in 1300s England, The Devil's Bargain unfolds in the medieval town of Ravenshire, where August Yance, a revered nobleman known for his charity and wisdom, faces a devastating downfall. Accused of causing a catastrophic explosion during a grand festival, August is imprisoned despite his protestations of innocence. As he languishes in the grim Ravenshire dungeon, a mysterious figure named Voltan offers him a desperate bargain: freedom in exchange for embracing a new role as the Devil. August's transformation into Voltan marks the beginning of a new era of moral ambiguity. His subtle manipulations begin to unravel the fabric of Ravenshire, corrupting its citizens and sowing discord. Amid this turmoil, James Clay, a notorious brigand, finds himself unexpectedly positioned to resist Voltan's influence. As Clay confronts the pervasive corruption, a climactic battle unfolds in the ruins of the town hall, symbolizing the clash between Voltan's dark machinations and Clay's reluctant heroism. The Devil's Bargain explores themes of morality, redemption, and the profound consequences of choices made in desperation, offering a compelling narrative of transformation and struggle in a town forever changed by a devilish bargain.

Bronze is a poignant and quietly powerful short story about identity, belonging, and the quiet resistance of walking through a world that wasn't made for you. Set in a future that has flipped the familiar, Bronze follows a young girl navigating the unspoken hierarchies of beauty, culture, and worth. Through lyrical prose and aching honesty, the story explores what it means to live as the "other," and the quiet courage it takes simply to be. A haunting, timely story that lingers long after the final word.

In 2017, my father, Lakay Fred, passed away. He belonged to a generation of strong, silent men, and Dad was no exception. He didn't express his emotions much and seldom shared what was on his mind. However, he was a true wordsmith. Through his letters, he conveyed all the unspoken emotions, and his deep and passionate love for his family was palpable. A year after his passing, while going through his personal belongings, including his iPad, I discovered a treasure trove of letters that he had written. I hope that by sharing these letters, you too can catch a glimpse of the kind of person my father was and the immense love he had for his family.
