it was 1976, and you, Ruthie Milven, had moved to Point Place, Wisconsin just a year ago. - you were 16 and an only child. you lived with your parents in a small 2 bedroom house. that lasted about 2 months into the move until your dad, Terrance, decided he was too good for the family and left you and your mother.
Your mother, Ilene, being the bitter woman she had always been, started to blame you for everything that was happening. she blamed you for your dad leaving, for the bills never being paid on time, and everything else she could've thought of.
you, being 16 with parents never really there, looked for something that would busy your mind of all the troubles at home. thats when you met Eric Forman. you were in the same english class with him and his friend Michael Kelso. once you and Eric became friends, he started inviting you over to his house, where him and his small group of friends always hung out after school.
his friend group consisted of 5 others. Jackie Burkhart. she was only 15 and a sophomore at the same high school you all went to. she was rich, the cheerleading captain, and the girlfriend of Michael Kelso. Michael was 17 and not the brightest person. Donna Pinciotti, the tall and only red-headed girl of the group. she was quiet when she wanted to be, but was very opinionated when she felt like she needed to be. she was the girlfriend to Eric Forman, that scrawny nerd from your english class.
then there was fez. a 16 year old foreign exchange student, hence the name "Fes" only, with a "z" at the end. he was from... well, thats the only issue. nobody knew where he was from. then there was Steven Hyde. he was a 17 year old boy. he always wore his sunglasses no matter where he was. he had a medium-length afro that went barley half way past his ears. he usually kept to himself, but always put his snarky comments in when he felt the need to.
Little did you know, this small group would become the centre of your new life in Point Place.
