Her lips trembled. "Adrian.." She muttered. I was mere inches from her face, and I could see every curve. Her dark, red wine lipstick made her eyes even more fiery than usual. "This isn't right.. I work for your mother," she whispered. I nodded my head, matter-of-factly. "I know," I said. My hand came up and touched her soft, supple cheek. "Honestly, I don't care anymore. You've been driving me insane for months. I'm finally going to do this." Then I leaned in, ready to finally fulfill the moment I'd been thinking of for what felt like years. - Adrian Diaz is many things: popular, millionaire, jock, and attractive. One thing he never thought he'd be was vulnerable. However, when his maid of nearly two years-Penelope, a seventeen year old girl working for money to help her family-catches his eye, he's full of blushing, nervous laughs, and seemingly strange feelings toward her. He tries to ignore Penelope and these emotions, yet whenever he sees her, he loses and forgets all of the many things he is. As he tries to stand up for himself and push the forbidden feelings away, the maid and her graceful actions push him down. Being a complete faux pas, her friend makes a comment and everything changes. Her looks, confidence level and much more. She never had a first love, but made it seem as so she did. She'd been like this for over two years, until now. Until Alec prances and dances his way into her life, making her ego go down and weaken with every look. While he is just the game, he plays archery, making a target right over her heart.. Literally. She finds herself in need for him and can't come to conclusions, and suddenly decides to play him back, hoping to give her ego a boost and make herself stronger against him. Will it work, finding her primary love with everything on her plate?
