Without warning, ash, smoke, and poisonous gasses cover the entire country and fill the entire atmosphere, throwing Darlena's normal life into a paralyzing turmoil. Left only with the food in her pantry and daydreams, Darlena is forced to make many difficult decisions to adapt to a world covered in ash and air that could kill her with just one breath. Will she survive the devastating Yellowstone Supervolcano and the catasrophe that follows, or will she, too, become part of the ashes?
