Ethan wasn't really cut out for battles. Yeah, he was top student at the Battling Academy but that didn't mean he liked it. His interests lay in being a Pokémon professor, but that would be hard for someone who'd been captured by an evil organization bent on destroying the world. Now, he has no choice but to save the world, along with companions he meets on the way, that's assuming he can trust them. And also, he needs to learn to stop referring to himself in the third person.

But Ari is of the past. The protagonist of this story is Ari's son, Elkarez, who's cocky, move-less, and simply a jerk. He's sent by his mother to finally learn some moves from NightBlade, an Absol who's close friends with Ari and was a help in the downfall of Arceus. On the way, Elkarez receives a 'stalker', Delta, and learns news of Darkrai's planing of revenge for his fallen master. There's only one response Elkarez can give to taking this dangerous journey: "Ugh...Fine." {Sequel to Strike like a Warrior.}

All Gijinkas have lived peacefully with one another ever since any one could remember, until one day Arceus receives a prophecy that sets him on one goal: Eliminate the Dragon Type Pokémon. Ari has become an orphan because of this, and has lived with her foster parents, Geki the Togekiss and Rose the Roserade, ever since. Well, until they are assassinated by Arceus's troops. When Ari is fleeing from the assassins, she's kidnapped by a Dragonite who shows her the lives the remaining Dragon Types are living, and she sets off on a journey with one goal in mind: To steal the throne from Arceus and give it to a worthy Gijinka.
