In the Danunda region, Klinklang Enterprises are starting to roll out battle robots - automatons that look like Pokémon and fight like Pokémon, but without any training required. Dylan and his friends Aiden and Mallory set off on a Pokémon journey to collect eight badges and challenge the Pokémon League, but there is stiff competition as the number of robot battlers rises, and the sheer power of their robots begins to eclipse what a Pokémon can muster. Not only that, but a mysterious organisation working under Klinklang Enterprises known as Team Cyborg have been hunting legendary Pokémon across the region. Years later Lysandre decides to conquered the world using the energy of Pokemon, even Mega Evolution and the power of Legendary and Mythical Pokemon of the world. In a last-ditch effort to make sure that someone will save the world, Mew convinces Arceus chooses Light Kiseki to be the Chosen One that will stop Lysandre's crazy plan when Light was just born, before going into hiding with the other Legendary and Mythical Pokemon. However he didn't anticipate that years later, Light, a recent Lumiose Academy graduate and avid reader who was born with the ability to understand Pokemon, doesn't want anything to do with Pokemon, more so ever since his father's disappearance and Dark bullying him for years. But he is forced to go on a journey when his friends bring him along for said journey. With a Froakie, a Pokemon his father originally was going to give him, the two of them make new friends and foes on their way to being the best of the best. What will happen on his journey?
