[this is not the actual start of the story, there's a lot more scenes already written, I'm loading this to see if people find it interesting enough to make the effort to turn the whole thing into a coherent story. This is co-written with ChatGPT- what I do is write the complete scene in indirect prose and let GPT turn it into direct prose, adding the fiddly details like descriptions and incidental dialogue, stitching and rewriting aftwerards where needed. I've tried writing alone, but I end up taking a week to write a paragraph, at least with LLMs I don't spend 20 minutes trying to remember the word "gable".]
