Ben Silvers is the son of up and coming Pokemon researchers, Wes and Rui, who were once heroes of the Orre region. Now, together with his Pokemon partner, Eve, they will leave their own mark on the World of Pokemon. Desperate to escape the lawless region of Orre, an ex-criminal named Wes attempts to leave both the desert and his past behind for good. Not all goes to plan, however, and soon he is caught in the middle of a war raging from the shadows, fighting to save the very region he was trying to forsake.

When Robin, a talking Decidueye, gets lost in thinking about his past, things go from worse to horrible. The dark history of the Grass/Ghost type is picking on his nerves and a certain orange-haired Pyroar man doesn't make it any better. As if it couldn't get even more horrendous, terrible nightmares haunt him every night. Hiding in the woods, he is currently in, won't get him anywhere. He needs to act. A boy wakes up in a Pokemon Center without his voice and memories. Despite that, and like many Amnesia prone folks before him, the boy sets off in an adventure to find his lost memories. It's just too bad that he's accidentally going to burn Unova to the ground while trying to find them.

A criminal organisation, called Team Snagem, has partnered up with Team Cipher, who have come up with a Shadow Pokémon plan. Together they steal and corrupt Pokémon to use them for their sinister plans. Wes (17), a former member of Team Snagem, decides to follow his own path. On his way he meets Rui, someone with a special ability. Together they join forces to stop the evil organisations by thwarting their plans. What is Rui's ability and how can it help them? What are these corrupted Pokémon? Can everyone you meet really be trusted? A story that sets in the desertous Orre Region, a region with few wild Pokémon and unknown to the main serie games. ---------------------------------------------------- This novel is based on the Pokémon Colosseum game, which is developed by Genius Sonority, published by The Pokémon Company and distributed by Nintendo.
