Growing up as childhood friends and next-door neighbors, Blue and Leaf begin their biggest journey yet: to become champion of the Pokémon region. With the help from Blue's grandfather both are given a Pokémon to begin their journey. But why has Blue suddenly turned sour towards his once best friend, and has began acting like a hot-headed Harlot? And what evil lurks in the midst of team Rocket's plans? This story is inspired by the Pokespe (Pokémon adventures) manga, my own playthrough of Pokémon Leafgreen, where an inside joke had me name the rival Harlot. Sorry if you're used to referring to the rival as Green, I live in the states and always think of his name as Blue, which means Leaf's alternative name is Green. I didn't want to cause confusion while writing this. As per usual, the game, characters, and cover models do not belong to me. They belong to GameFreak and the Pokémon Company.

First Encounter rule still applies. 5: Evolution is limited and can only be done to reach full evolution, a full 10 levels after requirements are made. (example: if I had a Bellsprout, and it evolves at level 21, then I would have to wait until level 31 to let it evolve into Weepinbell and then, if I don't train it, obtain a leafstone, then wait until level 41 to evolve it.)

Ever since she was a merely child in a world much bigger than her, Leaf Verde yearned to wander the earth and explore every nook cranny out there, even though she never divulged her secret ambition to anyone. After moving from the loud, noisy, and dangerous Saffron City to the much more peaceful and quaint Pallet Town and an unfortunate event Leaf managed to solve, Professor Oak offers Leaf a chance to indulge in her dreams by giving her a Pokemon of her own. After leaving for her journey, Leaf encounters a colorful array of people and soon makes rivals out of Blue Oak and Red Fire of Pallet Town. Meanwhile, Team Rocket begins stirring up trouble around the region and causing all sorts of problems. With only her newest friends, her Pokemon, by her side, Leaf learns more about herself, her rivals, and the region she grew up in. The Kanto Region is a lot more twisted than Leaf could've ever imagined and the problems aren't just within evil organizations trying to take over the world. Some people are just horrible, even ones with good ideals who believe what they do is right. And, all the while, Leaf wanders around the region, searching for her place in the world.
