The aspiring PokeTuber decides she has had enough, and packs up and leaves at the age of 12. Then,for the next 3 ½ years, she travels to varying regions. When she turns 16, she decides to finally settle down in Alola for the scenery, choosing Akala Island for its rich farmland and secludedness. This league is nothing alike to any of the leagues in the other regions. Instead of going to bustling cities to earn gym badges, you must scavenge through mountains and venture deep into the wilderness to find Medallions, treasures hidden deep within the remote region. Only two may win the titles as the Ultimate Champion and the Pokemon Master along with a prize of $5,000,000 given by the Pokemon Agency. Roseanne and Abigail are two trainers who have arrived from two different regions-Abigail from Hoenn and Roseanne from Kanto.

Before records, in Sumeros, 11-year-old Akantha-a girl, but not quite a person, and not quite a Pokemon-sprints a secret path to a cave. With paint on clawed fingers, she scratches memories on the cave walls. The cave remembers what she saw-and hints at who she will become.
