The-Insecure-Otaku
It started as a plague.
And ended as the world's worst nightmare.
Years ago, something spread through the Pokémon world-an illness no one understood, no one could contain. It didn't just kill. It changed things. People died in the thousands, Pokémon even more so... but the ones that survived came back wrong.
Twisted. Aggressive. Unrecognizable.
What were once loyal companions and gentle creatures became something else entirely-mutated, violent predators with no trace of the bond they once shared with humans.
The world collapsed into fear.
To contain the outbreak, Officer Jenny and her forces built something no one wanted to admit was necessary: an abandoned laboratory turned containment facility. With the help of Professors and Nurse Joy, the infected Pokémon were captured, studied, and locked away-while the world slowly tried to pretend it was healing.
Rebuilding began. Cities rose again. People learned to live with what they had lost.
But some things never truly stay buried.
Celesta Riley arrives in the city years later, hoping to help uncover the truth behind the plague. A researcher at heart, she wants answers-why it happened, whether it can be reversed, and if any of the creatures are still... themselves.
The lab is supposed to be secure.
Controlled.
Silent.
Until the power goes out.
And the doors unlock.
Now the monsters are free again.
And there's nowhere left to hide.
