The Bearer of the Curse was forged in sorrow - his existence defined by endless death and suffering. After rejecting the Throne of Want and wandering until the very world around him died, he finds himself somewhere impossibly different: a world of wonder, filled with creatures of joy and people who fight not for survival, but for connection. Here, in this Pokémon world, the cursed undead finds the very definition of peace - and it terrifies him. But he is not alone. Cynthia, Champion of the Sinnoh Pokémon League, scholar and warrior in her own right, sees beyond his silent facade. With patience and warmth, she teaches the undead that life can be gentle - that he doesn't need to live in constant suffering. As he struggles to make sense of this strange new world, the Bearer of the Curse must confront a truth harder than any curse: that he might finally have a chance to rest... and a reason to begin anew.

Harper is a young girl who grew up in Sandgem Town in the Sinnoh region. After turning thirteen and receiving her starter from her older brother, Harper decided to travel her home region and collect the eight Gym Badges. Along the way, Harper comes across new friends, new places, and a strange organization that plans on reawakening a legend older than time itself. Harper is afraid. She doesn't want her world to fall apart. However, with her Pokémon and friends by her side, Harper is ready to take on all of these new experiences head-on.

There once were two friends who shared the same dream of becoming the Champion of Sinnoh. Both trainers were successful and soon battled themselves for the title of Champion. After seeing their strength, people would call them the "Prodigy Duo of Sinnoh". Trainers would watch in awe as they were fascinated by their passion for battling and love for Pokemon. However, on a fateful day, everything changed. The battles ceased, rendering Cynthia Shirona the Champion as Y/N would disappear from people's eyes. He left without a trace. Nobody knew the reason behind Y/N's disappearance. Not even Cynthia knew. Years have passed, leaving Cynthia to her duty as the Champion while going through her everyday boring life as organizations and other problems were significantly low. Then a mysterious challenger appears on her doorstep.
