After catching Regigigas in the Snowpoint Temple not long after being crowned the new Champion of the Sinnoh League, Lucas uncovers a long forgotten tomb containing a strange flute, a notebook filled with strange Pokèmon, and a tablet with arcane script written upon it. After consulting Cynthia and Dawn about his discovery, Lucas learns that he has discovered the tomb of the ancient Pokèmon researcher Rei Teru, and learns the tale of the very first Pokèdex.

This is a story about adventure, discovery and friendship. This is a story about HQ and his companions. This is a story about the wonderful region of Sinnoh. If you are familiar with that name, yes, it is a tale about our dear 4th generation. I hope you will enjoy travelling across those lands by HQ's side. If you don't have any idea what this tale is about, that is totally fine. This story was firstly written to make you, the unfamiliar reader, discover the incredible world of Sinnoh. If you've ever played Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and/or Platinum, this is a story for you. This story is about everyone's favorite villain, Cyrus, and it takes place 13 years before the events in DPPT. Cyrus never had much of a backstory, so I gave him one. I hope that you enjoy it, and I am of course open to constructive criticism!
