It was mid-winter, the once lush green forest was forest was silent, land was covered in puffs of snow. The town folks rarely leaves their hard-brick homes, there's nothing to find outside- not in this long, thick, spine-shivering season.
Across the frozen river banks, deeper into the woodland edge, a vast pasture can be found. With the snow covering the entire field, even the fox is reluctant to wander in such condition. But not the girl who live in the cottage inside the big Elm tree.
What's there to wonder?
Under the shade of the tree lies the untouched carpet of autumn, sprinkled with golden blooms and falling leaves.
