"Even though I'm broken, my heart is still untamed." Cassidy Chandler. A very beautiful and very talented young girl was abused physically and mentally by her ex boyfriend. Her parents died when she was only 13 years old. Her father was a calf roping champion and her mother was a street racer. Her father died when he was going overseas to do calf roping in England when a big storm hit and shot the plane down. There were no survivors. A couple weeks later her mom died when she wrecked her car in a street race. When she escapes her boyfriend, she takes her beloved stallion, Nickel, to Montana to live there where she meets another cowboy, Carter Eastwood. Will he show her that not all cowboys are the same? Will he gain her trust?

When 15 year old Veronica longs to have a horse every thing seems to stop her from having one. She wishes she could have a palomino horse. But when her parents break up she gives up on her dream for a while. Then She finds something ahe is interested in and because of it she makes new friends. That something is pole bending.
