High school junior, Mason Jackson, had always known she was gay. At least, she had known since she decided to start shopping in the boy's section at the age of seven, when she started dressing herself. Since then, it was only more apparent to the adults around her, when she asked to be signed up for soccer, and basketball, and lacrosse, and when she never seemed to be involved in the newest boy band craze. In her junior year, Mason decided to join the track team, in hopes that she would have a chance at being able to run in college, as she had no idea what she wanted to do with her future. Little did she realize, she was allowing the pieces to fall perfectly as to allow her to meet the beautiful star runner that was Augustine Ford. **This story is unfinished. Schooling in Britain, fun right? Start off with Sierra Logan, city-bred girl who has been through everything- bad friends, family drama and the slowly dying enthusiasm for life. Now shift her to a magical new island that gives a hope of a new start. Add a sport, one to keep her grounded, motivated and forever pushing to new limits. (Who wouldn’t like a hot athlete’s body anyway?) Add a pinch- oops! A huge chunk of drama, bitches and bad luck i.e. your average high school hardships. A sprinkle of the good life- famous best friend, smart brains and a better body, a nervous boy who just can't stop making her laugh, his bad boy brother, and sudden luck! With added sour limes at training and sugar cubes for a better social life, you have the story of Sierra- a girl waiting for her fairytale ending. But for the rainbow to be seen, The Storms Must Pass. ***NOTE: this is not a sad story what-so-ever, just the start might seem so. It's your not so average teen fiction with fan fiction coming in later on. Lots of romance and humor. Please comment and give me advice on how to help make it better, ***

Sometimes people ask me what it's really like to pole vault and why the heck I'd want to do it. Well, I'm human just like everyone elts. And sometimes we humans just want to feel like we are flying. Pole vaulting is the closest I will ever be to flying. Running hard down the asphalt, picking up speed as you go, pushing your speed to the limit. Then as you are running down the runway you suddenly hit your last three steps and slam your pole into the back of the box. Nothing elts matters a as you pull back as hard as you can on that pole and swing your legs above your head. You can feel your abs tighten up. Then you are almost over the bar. About to fall back to the earth! But you roll. You have to flip to your stomach and push off that pole. You watch as it falls to the side. And then.... And then you are over! You've cleared the bar and finally hit the mat. That's the moment you realize pole vaulting is flying. Some are scared to try. But everyone is a little scared to fly sometimes.

The thrill and excitement that you get is far too unexplainable, but this shall do for anyone who hasn't vaulted. It's really a life changing experience ❤️
