Destiny often doesn't announce itself when it arrives. But for one boy, it comes with silence and smoke. Jett Arden was someone who was never supposed to matter. As the son of a humble tailor and a disgraced noblewoman, he was exactly the kind of person who was destined to disappear in the annals of history. But when tragedy strips him of his father and leaves him with nothing but grief, fate refuses to let him remain forgotten. With a desire to survive and a heart full of resolve, Jett embarks on a journey through life that will one day become the stuff of legends. A journey that will take him from the shadows of an orphanage to the brutal discipline of the Imperial Army, all the way to the throne room of the Korvax Empire itself. Every step forward in Jett's life is carved through loss, survival, and a persistent will to become something more than the world expected. Something that he hopes his father would be proud of. Jett Arden's journey is more than just another story about a historic rise to power. It is the tale of a man searching for his own identity, his own legacy, and his place in a world that was never meant to be his.

The ocean remembers what the world tried to forget. Hidden beneath the fractured tides of the Ocean Veil, Nytherra has survived for centuries in silence. Once a breathtaking abyssal kingdom built within the deep currents beneath the world, Nytherra now exists suspended between ruin and preservation, its sacred halls divided by grief, political fractures, and the scars of an ancient catastrophe known only as the Sundering. While the surface world reduced the kingdom to myth, Nytherra endured beneath the black water, concealed behind impossible currents and reality-warping veil fractures that kept the depths hidden from the world above. But the Veil is weakening. As the Eclipse begins destabilizing the barriers surrounding the kingdom, forgotten pathways reopen, ancient districts begin awakening, and something vast stirs beneath the abyssal trenches below Nytherra itself. At the center of the growing unrest stands a young heir raised within a kingdom still mourning its past, surrounded by fragile alliances, rising tensions, and factions questioning whether the throne should survive at all. Meanwhile, across the violent smuggler ports of Gravemoor Bay, relic divers and black-market scavengers unknowingly begin uncovering fragments of Nytherra once more, drawing the attention of forces buried far beneath the sea. Because some kingdoms were never meant to rise again. And some things sleeping beneath the ocean were never meant to wake.

You remember it like yesterday. The setting sun shining through your windows and onto your dinner table while your mom spoonfed you yogurt from the grocery market. Then right after she was done, you rushed straight into your backyard to run around in the grass aimlessly for no other reason than to be in the moment while the world burned around you. Everything was perfect back then. Now you're more grown up and everything is rotten now. You're an enigma in society; you're a 21st-century socialist. People look at you like you're some sort of plague. You can't muster up the courage to speak anymore, you can't focus anymore, there are so many little thoughts and "dreams" that's all too much to manage. And then there's her, the ghost in the back of your mind who only reinforces these thoughts. You want to go back so badly, but you can't. The past is dead and in its place is a horrible future where the cities are full of the collapsed remnants of abandoned buildings, the marvels of the old are defunded & slashed to bits, and where the ringing won't stop. But maybe in your attempt to go back, you'll find out something terrible about yourself. There Is Always a Judas is an opinion-driven cultural and political essay that examines betrayal as a recurring force in movements for liberation. Drawing from scripture, history, film, and modern events, the piece explores how power fractures resistance not only through violence, but through infiltration, celebrity influence, misinformation, and internal collapse. From Judas Iscariot to government informants, from pop culture icons to modern enforcement, this essay challenges readers to rethink who we trust, who we follow, and how easily truth can be traded for comfort. At its core, it is a warning about power, loyalty, and the cost of mistaking proximity to influence for leadership.

I pulled out a book that had a cartoon Jesus on it, smiling with other cartoon people, while at the bottom was a god awful caricature of Satan trying to lure others away. "Why Good People Smile." "Because they're hiding something." I said bitterly. ------------------------------------------------------- Gabriel Lewis has never been a believer. How could you be when your entire job was cleaning a stadium that killed the Imps, humans that had been made something less and exiled were killed gameshow style and watched and laughed at by those claimed to be holy, The same people that killed his parents and had Gabriel exiled. But when he meets Landon Sonne, the son of the very man who was responsible for his parent's death, he's thrust into Saint City, as the new Primary Public Representative of the new political party for Imps with no chance at winning, Gabriel's quiet cynical life can no longer be. And in Saint City where everyone is performing, the question is, if Gabriel can change for the better or lose himself trying. Disclaimer: I do not own the images I use, credit where credit is due. This is certainly not a twist to miss- In this reality, dramatic, slightly political tale; a young lady saves a young boy from drug dealers and decides to keep and raise him. The ultimatum has been given. NATO has fractured. And the war for Europe's soul has just begun. After Russia's Phase Seven ultimatum, NATO splits down the middle. Western Europe withdraws from Eastern defense. Lithuania and the Baltic states stand alone with a ragtag Eastern coalition, facing the full weight of Russian hybrid warfare. Seventeen-year-old journalist Milda Žukauskas goes underground, documenting resistance while falling for Jonas, her fellow war correspondent. Together they expose Phase Eight-Russia's decade-long plan to break Eastern Europe through attrition. But everything has a cost. Her childhood friend Lukas dies heroically during a prisoner rescue. Her mother Rūta makes impossible choices between saving lives and securing victory. And Milda learns that truth-telling in wartime means choosing what truths to prioritize when you can't save everyone. As the Eastern coalition launches a desperate offensive to destroy Phase Eight's infrastructure, Milda must decide: remain objective journalist or become active resistance? Document history or make it? Then Russia declares actual war. Not hybrid. Not limited. Total war. And a mysterious message warns: "Phase Nine isn't what you think. It's not Russian." When democracy's defenders stand at the breaking point, one voice still matters. Even if it's just seventeen years old. They Never Existed by John Truth In a near-future America, the border has become a graveyard, and truth has been buried beneath concrete and silence. When retired Delta Force operative Caleb Mendez rescues a six-year-old boy from an ICE black site in the Arizona desert, he uncovers the darkest secret of the modern deportation regime: immigrants aren't just being deported-they're being erased. No papers. No names. No records. Directive 127 doesn't send people home. It makes sure no one ever knows they were here. Now hunted by ICE drones and military patrols, Caleb joins forces with Isabela Reyes, a resistance fighter he once saved from a detention van and who now holds deep ties to Mexican politicians and cartel factions willing to fight back. Together, they uncover a genocidal program that burns human lives and rewrites history-one body at a time. As Caleb and Isabela lead an underground network called The Phantom Line, their mission becomes clear: expose the truth, protect the erased, and spark a rebellion on both sides of the border. But with the government labeling them terrorists and families vanishing by the thousands, freedom has never been so dangerous-and survival never more costly. A harrowing, action-packed thriller grounded in terrifying realism, They Never Existed is a searing indictment of silence, erasure, and the war against memory. In this America, to be undocumented is to be disposable-and resistance is the only way to remain real.

A slow-burn romantic fantasy where a covert mission wrapped in a political marriage turns real. Princess Cara did not come to Niraelia for love. She came for a stolen crystal, one that contains a living soul. Bound in a political marriage to the kingdom that took it, Cara must play the role of devoted bride while quietly searching for the one thing that could restore what was lost, or destroy her entirely. The court is watchful. The queen is sharper than she appears. And her husband is far more perceptive than she can afford. Their marriage is meant to be an illusion. A carefully maintained lie to buy her time. But as whispers grow louder, loyalties blur, and the truth behind the stolen crystal begins to surface, Cara finds herself facing a far more dangerous problem than the mission she came for: She is beginning to trust the man she was meant to deceive. And if he learns why she is truly here... It won't just cost her the crystal. It may cost her everything. And the closer Cara comes to the truth, the more fragile her carefully constructed lie becomes. Because somewhere between duty and deception... between silence and shared space... she begins to forget which parts of her were meant to be an act.
