In the dead of night, one could see the silhouette of two figures embrace each other. They appear to be tenderly in love and content as they gaze into each other's eyes. One of high esteem and wealth, but disgraced from their native home, the other of little fortune but of rising prestige. "We know we cannot be together, right?" Duke Bakugou exclaimed in all but a whisper "Why not?" Sir Midoriya asked in quiet regret "They're plenty of high lords who take a male lover?" ... Duke Bakugou turned the smaller man to face him, to hold him in firm as he stared with his piercing red eyes, almost tearing in grief. "It is not the act of gender or genitalia that forbids our relationship, but it is the act of desire, admiration, and true love for each other that forces others to look down upon us at all." He cupped his hands to Sir Midoyria's face "No matter what we say, no matter what power we could obtain to sway anybody, it wouldn't matter for the act of true love is nothing but a threshold of mockery to them all." In the final words spoken from his crude mouth, Sir Midoriya knew that the distance that pertains them alike, that despite the multiple experience at court for them both, one's own background still pertains, as it forces the green-haired man to realize one thing. That Duke Bakugou would give up his wealth, his riches, and his own power at court, in order to maintain their delicate relationship, but he would never compromise a single shred of his own cultivated image. Even in the name of love.

Powers weren't rare, in fact most everyone had powers these days, whether it was as mundane as minor telekinesis or as impressive as bending time. What set powers apart however, was their level, which changes only once during puberty and then remains static until their bodies begin to deteriorate with age. Sophra didn't have an impressive power, how impressive could [Perfect Balance] be after all, but with a mastery level of 100 there's no telling what she could do with it. Kylan on the other hand, got stuck with the phenomenal comic power of [Probability Manipulation], but with a mastery level of 0 it almost wasn't worth having any power. Stuck on a path neither of them would have signed up for alone, can they figure out a way to navigate their new, dangerous, reality or will their powers end up not being enough?

When strange events occur in each of the Big Four kingdoms, order and peace in the New Lands are threatened. Drayan, Kordell, Gelior and Travia - four great states, four world powers. They fight for power in Mawress, the international capital located on the Purple Island. However, political games take a back seat when ancient legends begin to awaken. The only story the world knows is the story of the Seven Legacies contained in the Drayanese Chronicles. They tell about the existence of a race of half-human and half-gods - Balyrians, the existence of the Great Largoss Empire and the natural disasters that led to its fall, and about magic, which is now only a fairy tale for people in the New Lands. The Seven Legacies were supposed to be a covenant made between Queen Rose and the Balyrians, the last of which was to be the greatest promise they made to her. However, part of the Seventh Legacy was lost many years ago. Now that the Chronicles have been stolen, people fear that the secret knowledge contained in the Seven Legacies has fallen into the wrong hands. Legends and myths are no longer fairy tales and there is a greater battle going on in the world than in the political arena of the New Lands.
