Amendment VX 2048 is a political science fiction novel set in a future Earth where a radical alien-enforced amendment, known as Amendment VX, has transformed society. This amendment mandates societal restructuring to ensure the planet's survival, enforcing a controversial sterilization program that requires men to undergo vasectomies, castrations, slave labor, and implements female-led governance. The novel centers around a human legislator who secretly supports the enforcement of Amendment VX, torn between her loyalty to Earth's governance and the alien forces behind the law. She navigates complex political landscape and the pressures of living under a regime that mandates sterilization for men, where traditional gender roles known to earth, are no longer. As the female legislator delves deeper into her political career, she begins to uncover unsettling evidence of covert infiltration within her government by female human-alien hybrids, initially only agents of Vasconis Prime.
