Picture this: You discover the world is dying, but because you're connected to it, you are also dying. If you stay connected, you can use your power to save it and die in the process. If you detach, you can't save it and everyone dies because we'll have no liveable world to live on. That is what I am going through. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I have no memory of my past life. I don't know if I've ever had a normal family, maybe I was lost, maybe I was abandoned. That doesn't matter to me though, solitude was a good friend. However, things change. They always do. I used to live in the trees and amongst nature, connected to the many things around me, but I had no control. Before I knew it, I am adopted. He is training me to embrace and focus my gift, and "to spread my wings and fly," as he would put it. He seems to see something special or something of importance within me. Nobody has ever noticed before... maybe that's because I let no one see me. When we discover the world is dying, and the situation is as it was described before. Even more change must happen. Only I have the power to save it, or let it rot. But I still have no control. I am bound, I am chained, I am restricted to an unknown force. But there is another force, telling me that letting it rot, is something I cannot do. I have to do something, but what if I can't? I'll end up dying either way, but maybe (an extremely slim maybe) I won't. ------------------------------

This is a book about the wonderful creatures on our planet. I will be going over their environments, their treatment in zoos, what status they are on the IUCN redlist. I will go over UK legislation (possibly) and their needs and things. I am very opinionated with this, I grew up around animals and I'm disgusted with how the world is prioritizing us over the animals that have no control over what we do. I am also studying an animal based-course so I will do my best to use some scientific wording (and will explain the meaning of it). Because of my education and wanting to go to Uni, I may be a little on and off with posting but, I will be doing my best. Environmental pollution is the introduction of harmful substances into the environment. It is harmful to us. Environmental pollution isn't a future problem.

A girl lays to rest as she accepts her fate as her world is ending. Closing her eyes by the ocean to put herself to sleep forever. She wakes up in an unknown place starting her journey to save other planets while realizing she has a bounty on her head.

Lost in the rhythmic percussion of waves. My first entry and short story for the #PlantOrPlastic to 'wake up the world to the potential impact of single-use plastic' I think it is so important to impact the world on the harmful effect plastic has on wildlife. I take pride in picking up pieces around my neighbourhood and I am so happy to become apart of this experience in using the Wattpad platform to make the world aware of the harmful risks of it. Although my account may be small, carrying barely any followers or views on any work I publish, I am more than happy to use my voice in order to be heard by at least somebody! Thank you for letting me be apart of this magnificent eye-opening writing competition.

While we damage nature, we damage ourselves. This is no longer a voluntary mass suicide
