Poetry Collection // Upon the Stars We See is a deeply personal and politically charged chapbook that weaves together haiku, prose poems, and spoken word to explore the intersections of Indigenous identity, environmental grief, and the quiet violence of modern existence. Through minimalism and lyrical force, it constructs a celestial mirror-reflecting not only the realities of colonization and capitalism, but also the resilience, memory, and inherited strength of those who live through them.

What happens when the planet you are from no longer sustains life because of the generations that lived before you. The blue marble that shines so brightly like a Gem in our solar system has gone, replaced with a dark and poisonous planet. Ten years ago the earth had a major Exodus, evacuating as many humans as possible. Luna was left behind to face the devastation, to try and survive in a bleak and obsolete world. Barely able to breathe the toxic air, life is no longer about living, but surviving. This book was written by J Butterworth and C Hufer.

Kathmandu, the city of temples, is now wearing a mask-not as a tradition, but as a necessity. Once known for its cultural richness and breathtaking landscapes, Kathmandu is now making headlines for something much darker: its dangerous air quality. In recent years, air pollution has turned into one of the biggest threats to the health and well-being of its residents. So what's happening, and more importantly, what can we do? https://b1.ghimireprabesh.com.np/choking-on-progress-kathmandus-air-pollution-crisis-and-what-can-be-done/

This is a book about the wonderful creatures on our planet. I will be going over their environments, their treatment in zoos, what status they are on the IUCN redlist. I will go over UK legislation (possibly) and their needs and things. I am very opinionated with this, I grew up around animals and I'm disgusted with how the world is prioritizing us over the animals that have no control over what we do. I am also studying an animal based-course so I will do my best to use some scientific wording (and will explain the meaning of it). Because of my education and wanting to go to Uni, I may be a little on and off with posting but, I will be doing my best. Do whatever you can to help others, no matter how small <3 note: None of the images, videos or the cover is mine. Credits to the amazing people who produced them XX

Walley's Quarry" is a poignant verse that paints a vivid and stark picture of an environmental catastrophe. Within its verses lies a haunting portrayal of Walley's Quarry's landfill, a scar on the landscape serving as a testament to human neglect and indifference towards nature. The poem vividly depicts the gradual growth of this man-made blight, its toxic presence seeping into the very fabric of the environment-poisoning the air, soil, and waterways. Through visceral imagery and evocative language, it conveys the widespread devastation caused by this site, affecting all life forms that come into contact with its contamination. The verses echo with a call for justice and restoration, a plea to rectify the heedless actions that led to this grave environmental degradation. It serves as a warning, a solemn reminder of the consequences of unchecked greed and the urgent need to address the damage inflicted upon the Earth. This poem stands as a sobering reflection on the price paid when humanity fails to acknowledge its role in the preservation of the natural world-a resonant narrative urging collective action and responsibility towards healing and redemption. Avani looked at the pizza store in front of her. Many passed by her, giving her glares and weird looks but Avani didn't care. All she could think about was food. And how her own step-mother disowned her. And the nurse's horrified face. And how warm her toes would be if she had just one match. Sighing, she walked to her corner around the garbage dump of a random store and laid down. She shut her eyes, not wanting to open them ever again. -ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ Avani was just an ordinary girl, living in an ordinary life That is until she started barfing up garbage, oil, and plastic. Her own step-family left her with no money, no water, nothing to survive. No one wanted her, especially if she was a freak. Pollution, pollution, and pollution. How can you stop that? There's no way. But then, a shiny object dropped from the sky, and that was the answer to her question. But she had a weakness. And that weakness will bring her down, it'll destroy her inside and out. If she doesn't learn to control it, it'll control her. But there was something she didn't get. How will she save the world if she couldn't even save herself? »»----------------------«« ~(TEL)The Elements of Life series: 1~ A mix of Fantasy and Mystery Impressive rankings: #1- ecosystem (05/01/20) #3- shawrocketprize (04/25/20) #1 - saveourplanet (05/14/20) #5 - pollution (01/15/21) #1- shawrocketprize (06/17/20) Awards won: Orca Awards 2020, 3rd place in fantasy

6 friends; Scott, Amantha, Warren, Teresa, Scarlett and Sam decided that they were done living in a polluted, crowded, miserable society. I mean, it isn't their fault they do not want to just cope with what heartless, cold-blooded humans did to their own place of living which they call, "HOME". Living alone from everyone - on an island is surely not just a simple and light thing to do. It's literally surviving. Of course it was not easy for the batch to just normally live their life on a deserted island. But, it is surely better than living on a wasteland.
