Three families have always run Riverdale. The Rookies, who own each part of the education system of Riverdale, the Blossoms, who ran the maple syrup business that founded Riverdale, and the Kenzingtons, the heads of each council and art program in the growing town.
The Rookies, Emerson and Cora, have three children. Justin, the oldest that set the highest standards, Kayla, the middle child that has too many pressures to be perfect, and Blair, the youngest that could do no wrong. Kayla is well known by her peers, particularly the male population of the school, but how far will she go to keep that reputation?
The Blossoms, Clifford and Penelope, have a set of twins. Cheryl and Jason, as charming as can be, have too many secrets to count. To their peers, Cheryl is the biggest bitch and Jason is the biggest player on campus. They can only hope that their roles in Riverdale High don't reach their parents.
The Kenzingtons, Lucas and Taylor, are the Brady Bunch of Riverdale, though you'd never guess. They all share the same dark hair and bright, blue eyes. Their children, as similar in looks as they are, could not be any more different.
The oldest boy, Ryder, abandoned his family and became a Southside Serpent. The oldest girl, Rachel, left college to bum on her parent's sofa. Next is Riley, the first child to achieve any greatness in the family. The third youngest, Rowan, is on her way to Harvard Law but has too many setbacks to get anywhere. The youngest children, the Kenzington's own set of trouble making twins, Rick and Raelynn. One rules Riverdale High with a sarcastic tongue and a bad attitude, the other with brains.
Tragedy is inevitable when these three families are caught up in a web of lies and secrets to tangled to straighten out.
