We're just some nerds who like to rp a lot. Our characters are often angsty beans and they'll probably be ooc as opposed to the actual show's characters.

Hence, neither of them know whether what they have is legitimately passionate or is just something in favor of one and not the other. Its a complete paradox and later as the true intensions of the older guy are exposed, the entire truth unleashes, through the proceeding stages of the book. Age difference seems to take a slight toe on the pair, and whether their love will perceiver or not.
