After the emergence of science, human belief shifted from the inexplicable to the explainable. It helped that there was a massive overhaul of permissions to Earth's reality, sending the Norse and Greek pantheons into a shared but separated realm: Arkala. Ragnarök has been broken; the Roman's are a whispered curse; the Olympians have been punished. But Odin never did respect power that he couldn't wield, and Zeus can taste his former existence as Jupiter, a king among mortals. But where did they come from? How did they disappear? Why is Earth suddenly at risk after centuries of supernatural silence? There was a mythology that respects the shadows, the honesty of all things lost to memory. They planted the seeds of their own predicaments, leaving a few determined mortals to unveil the worlds that only the immortal were meant to perceive.

A family in distress. An anonymous disease. A raging war behind the kingdoms' peaceful face. And a girl who would do anything to save her dying family, even provoking the God of Destruction himself. However, the Thirteen Gods have their own problems, and her plan to use this God quickly falls apart into a spiraling chaos of love, rebellion, and destruction.

Nobody quite knows how it works, but they have the mysterious ability to bond with their spirit animal to a point where they are able to shift into them for as long as they wish, and five fifteen year olds from the village are finally getting their chance to find their spirit animals, all across their great continent, but there are many hidden dangers scattered across the continents, secrets hidden from everyone for thousands of years, waiting to be uncovered. Little do these chosen few know, but they may be the key to their entire civilization's survival.
