Join my husband Mason and me as we poke through ossuaries, love hotels, medical museums, old graveyards, and hot new restaurants -- and almost get sacrificed to a volcano. My brand-new memoir, exploring the world from San Francisco to Japan by way of Paris, Prague, and Pompeii, is debuting on Wattpad.

A collection of poems entered for the Attys awards, 2012. The judges were kind enough to shortlist this work and I thank them for that recognition. Biggest thanks, however, go to you, dear reader.

Poems I write that I feel are meaningful or just a different part of me. Maybe some of my friends as well but I'll let you know if it isn't something I wrote.Also poems I find that I like. These poems may cause feels and of that sort if you get the deeper meanings.

Paige mysteriously wakes up in the Roman Town of Pompeii, but she's not sure how, when, or why. She decides to explore while she's here, and runs into a family that helps her on her mission to get back home. During her exciting time in Pompeii, little earthquakes shake the earth. It isn't until later until she's figured out why, but it's too late.

Some assumed him and his mother found a new life in the big city, escaping from the rich wealth-full lifestyle. Yet, no evidence of their residence has been found. We all know the tragic event, the eruption of mount Vesuvius on Pompeii back in 79 AD. But what if we combined Ninjago with one of the most tragic eruptions in history? Knowing so little about what actually happened, I will be researching as much as i can for this story. Warning: violence, abuse, heartache, and grief. Read at your own risk. I'm going to try my best to make this as accurate as possible while also including Ninjago :)
