A collection of poems entered for the Attys awards, 2012. The judges were kind enough to shortlist this work and I thank them for that recognition. Biggest thanks, however, go to you, dear reader.

Poems I write that I feel are meaningful or just a different part of me. Maybe some of my friends as well but I'll let you know if it isn't something I wrote.Also poems I find that I like. These poems may cause feels and of that sort if you get the deeper meanings.

Paige mysteriously wakes up in the Roman Town of Pompeii, but she's not sure how, when, or why. She decides to explore while she's here, and runs into a family that helps her on her mission to get back home. During her exciting time in Pompeii, little earthquakes shake the earth. It isn't until later until she's figured out why, but it's too late.

James and his friends sneak out of their hotel rooms in the middle of the night on a school trip to Pompeii; they must then find their way back to the group. Will James find true love on the trip? Maybe, but there might be some drama or even injuries on the way.

Now they had both been reborn and George was working at a local coffee shop barely holding on with his rent overdue and having to pay his sister's hospital bills. Meanwhile, Clay was a CEO of a big company with the memory of his past life promise in his mind. They finally meet again when Clay found George crying on a local park bench and they know they were past lovers.

this is a story I wrote years ago for a history project. since then, I have added an epilogue so that readers aren't left hanging

I took his head in both my hands and sat on top of him, My head was searing with pain, my ribs seemed to be breaking and I lifted it above the air and slammed it on the ground again and again before i realized what I was doing. "What the fuck are you doing?" Moss yelled, running over to Charlie who now seemed unconscious. "I don't know" I said. The voice kept ringing in my head "Kill the Biduoa, Death to the Biduoa" as I slammed his face his face again and again. Moss pushed me off and slapped straight across my cheek. I woke up out of my trance and I didn't realize that I couldn't feel the pain as I destroyed Charlie's beautiful face. White sparkling teeth now drowning in blood. I felt the pain now and before I could say anything more Moss walked up to me and punched my ear. This is A story about a girl who starts a revolution against the system and fails. a place where time has become money. The future decides to help her but messes it up even more. "Do we know who the chosen one is?" I ask. "We know he has brown eyes an-" "He? Does the chosen one have to be a boy?" I interrupt. "Well, I suppose not. Their has never been a female chosen one before but, I assume its possible. Anyway, where was I? Oh, I know... They have brown eyes and an 'A' birthmark somewhere on them. We know that their birthday is April 15, 57, which makes them 10 years old right now." "That's my birthday. I have brown eyes and an 'A' birthmark on my arm!" I say rolling up my sleeve to show him. "Am I the chosen one?" I ask. He nods "Yes my dear. You are but, tell no one. You were not to find out till your fifteenth birthday." I nod. My name is Ilenea and I am the chosen one.
