Grace is on a trip with her college, she is an archeologist in training one of the youngest ones ever at that. Now she and her classmates an in Pompeii. As she goes through the ruins and examines what she can an old rival or hers decides to dare Grace to do something she never thought she would do. Kiss the male statue of the gladiator who was made of ash. It was said that before him there was once a woman but somehow her body did not resist time as his did. Grace never backs down from a challenge but when she does the dare something she never expected happens... (Not going to follow the movie completely and many characters will probably act different so just FYI there) Highest Rating #280 in Historical Fiction #386 in Historical Fiction

This is just a little story about Pompeii. The story is about a young girl named Aeliana and her family trying to survive the eruption of the volcano.

In this story, I imagined myself during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius that destroyed the city of Pompeii and wrote a journal about it as one of the only survivors during the incident. (This is my first Wattpad post)

Just a short story about a young girl from Pompeii

Caelius, a young Roman, has just witnessed the destruction of his entire family and the only home he has ever known. With Pompeii buried in ash, he has nowhere to go and nobody to turn to in his grief. Meanwhile, the recently dethroned Adelrik finds himself roaming around Europe, having been banished from his kingdom and scorned by his people. When these two young men find each other, what will happen when they hear of each other's hardships? Will they turn a blind eye and go their separate ways? Or will they find solace in the fact that they have only each other?

Living in the city of Pompeii her whole life Sabina wants nothing more than to find freedom but her mother wants the complete opposite. At the age of eighteen she has been avoiding marriage for far too long. Her father gives her two months to find a man she can truly love, if she doesn't she had to marry the man she was originally promised to. Sabina thinks she is out of luck until she discovers that a gladiator that was just brought into the city is her old friend, Aurelius. She would do anything to save him from the games, even pray to the gods for a way out... What she doesn't know is that she has brought fire to the city.

Suppose we went back in time, to the moment Vesuvius erupted. What was life like back then? What was life like in Pompeii? What were the people of Pompeii doing, when the mountain erupted? This is the story of one girl who lived in Pompeii. Beautiful cover is by @AverySummers
