A common thought amongst the Greasers who live in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1965 is that all Soc's have it made. But what if that wasn't the case for every Soc? What if sometimes a persons behavior only exists to protect those that they care about. River Gray and Dallas Winston have been ruling the streets of New York from the second they met. Although it was a rough start at first, the two quickly became inseparable. Until one day Dallas disappeared out of nowhere leaving River alone and confused. It isn't until years later when the two reconnect with nothing but bad blood between them. Jealousy, abandonment, and betrayal all get in the way of any fresh start the two may have wanted. But it may also push them back together closer than they were before.

This is a fanfiction love story about ponyboy Curtis. I decided to continue off the story with Dallas winston still alive but Johnny Cade dead. I hope you enjoy! Tess is a sixteen year old girl who just moved to Tulsa oklahoma. Her past is not pretty. She tries to leave the past and her feelings behind her and start a new life, but when she meets ponyboy she soon realizes that you can not run from your pain. Ponyboy seems like the only person keeping Tess on her feet, and ponyboy will do whatever it takes to help Tess cope with all the hardships that are yet to come.

In a modern world of cracked phone screens and late-night notifications, the greasers are still wild, just now it's through group chats. Loyalty is tested, fights spark in seconds, and brotherhood runs deeper than any message can hold. From inside jokes to real-life chaos, their story unfolds one notification at a time. I first wrote this story when I was in the 8th grade after reading The Outsiders and falling completely in love with its world, characters, and heart. Like a lot of readers, I wasn't ready to leave Tulsa behind, so I created a story of my own. Years later, I found those old pages again and realized the feelings that inspired them were still there. So I decided to finally put it out into the world. I've grown up a lot since then, and so has this story. I rewrote scenes, deepened the emotions, and changed a few things along the way,including her name. But at its core, it's still the same story I dreamed up as a kid: about music, first love, heartbreak, friendship, and trying to find where you belong when the world has already decided who you are. This is a fan-created work inspired by The Outsiders. I do not own the original characters or source material, aside from my own original character and story additions. When the Music Started is for anyone who ever finished a book and wished they could stay a little longer.

Me and my friends decided to write this masterpiece. Watch as horse child and traumatized child meet dazai and chuuya. Things may happen! Guys will be cute! (a lighthearted parody of all those johnnyboy fanfics on wattpad)

This story will be written by myself and @Tori_Castellanos The Socials, otherwise known as the Soc's and the Greasers came from two completely differently worlds. While the Soc's lived on the rich west side of town and were known as 'white trash with Mustangs and Madras Shirts', the Greasers lived in the east. A poorer area with less flashy cars and more dead-beat dads. The two 'gangs' hated each other with a passion, nothing could get through the fiery loathing and the violence that came with it. Until...

"Friends. That word was not sufficient. There was no word that was." Dallas Winston is frozen. Frozen so that he feels nothing, a self-inflicted glacier firmly in place between his head and heart. Being a greaser and a hoodlum has trained him to be cold since the first time he was arrested at ten. But for the first time in years, something is starting to thaw. Thanks to the fire boy known as Johnny Cade. It's confusing and wrong and absolutely terrifying. Dallas knows this story will never have a happy ending, but he's suicidal enough to play along. (Obviously contains HEAVILY IMPLIED Johnny x Dally. It's not the entire story, but, I mean. Come on.) (I actually turned an incomplete version of this fanfic to my Language Arts teacher).
