A few months after everything happened in Windrexville, Ponyboy finds himself settling into the new normal. Same school, Same friends, new routine. But Ponyboy isn't the same. He still checks the Lot to find Johnny, and it hurts him a little more everytime he's met with nothing. Until one night, he's met with two events that makes him question everything he knew the past few months. OR: Something is of grave danger to the Curtis's, and who better to warn them but their dearly departed?

This was a school assignment that I thought some people might like to read, it's super short. It's set the day after the rumble. Everything before this is as it goes in the book, with exception of the rumble, which you'll learn about while reading. It's Ponyboys POV. 1573 Words
