Ponyboy seems like the only person keeping Tess on her feet, and ponyboy will do whatever it takes to help Tess cope with all the hardships that are yet to come.

Hello everyone! This is my Johnny Cade x y/n fanfiction. Just a little heads up, this story doesn't take place during the time that The Outsiders does. It's kind of like an AU where Johnny and Dally didn't die, but all the other events happened. We'll say this is like, 6 months after. Also, I know that S. E. Hinton wrote a few books that take place after and have Outsiders characters in them, but I haven't read those in a hot minute so this won't be consistent with those books. Sorry! I hope you enjoy!
