I'm George Washington Monahan, so I am, but everyone just calls me Wash. I'm supposed to tell you what this is all about. Our sweet Miss Fiona's run off to Fort Bridger to help Old Man Lynch. She's caught between a plains war and a lovesick army captain, so she is. All the while trying to keep her romance with Lights the Storm secret. Like we don't know already. Jaysus. Meanwhile, Jesse's been discovered, barely alive, on the riverbank. Whether or not that's a good thing or a bad thing remains to be seen. As for Tommy, Luis, Rosie, and meself, well, we've a dead wicked challenge to work through. And I suppose I should learn to keep me gob shut and not take on wagers that involve book learning. The lot of us just want some peace and quiet, so we do. We want to be home. Even if we each have to figure out where that is.

In the background of a rising and growing new country, the shadows of the Pony Express fly over the plains. Nobody really knows who they are, nobody really seems to care. They are nothing more than a nameless link from the East to the West. They defy death daily, braving terrible dangers... rushing rivers, craggy mountain passes, icy blizzards, stifling heat, savage beasts, unfriendly natives. It is a thankless job. But one young woman notices the shadow on the plains... and wonders about the man behind the glorious facade of the Pony Express.

Its been 20 years since the crash of the Tulpar, pony express has become known as a failed project by money hungry entrepreneurs. A project has been made to search for the lost ship. You follow the heads of the project on their exploration and rehabilitation of the ship. You follow Curly as well, the last remaining member of the Tulpar. As he works through healing from the events and providing information about the ship, the crash and what lead up to it.

She's a 16 hand mare her breed is a thoroughbred/draft and her name is "Cheyane". This is the story of Cheyane and her amazing adventure being apart of the Pony Express.
