Set one week after the events of the film, Ponyo begins her new life as a fully human girl. Now part of Koichi and Lisa's family, she and Sosuke navigate school days, small seaside adventures, and the quiet adjustments of everyday life. As Ponyo learns the rhythm of the human world, Sosuke slowly discovers what it truly means to keep a promise. Through laughter, challenges, and heartfelt moments, the family grows closer-proving that even the simplest days by the ocean can shape a lifetime.

This story follows the end of the movie, "Ponyo" by Studio Ghibli, but years later where Sousuke & Ponyo are 18 years old and nearing the end of high school. Heads up, a lot of the names and places I'm going to mention are made up! I hope you enjoy ♡ Sousuke and Ponyo have been joined at the hip since she become a human! She's left her life in the sea and her mystical powers behind, and has accumulated to human life for the past 13 years--all with Sousuke's help! It is now their 3rd year in high school at Teruhashi High, and also about that time where these 3rd years decide on what they want to do after high school. Sousuke, now 18-years-old, has chosen his path, whereas Ponyo hasn't got the slightest clue. All she's ever known is her perfectly happy life with Sousuke... what could possibly go wrong?
