Its 29 degrees in the shade. This is the hottest holiday Lily has been on for ages but one she so desperately needed. While lying on a sunbed in the shade she spots the mystery man she saw at baggage check in at Gatwick.
Whilst queuing for ages at Gatwick, she spied a handsome gentleman waiting in the next queue. Dashingly good looking, in designer clothes, he is out of place in this queue. Everyone else is prepared for their holidays, in flip flops, shorts and oversized hats, yet this man is dressed as if he has stepped off the catwalk.
He surely cant be going on her flight to La Palma.
Staring at the mystery man from behind her sunglasses she studies his chiseled chest and toned back. This man clearly knows how to look after himself, if only he would get off his phone. Everytime she had spotted him from Gatwick baggage check in, through security and waiting in the departure lounges his phone had been permanently fixed to his hand. He was obsessed and oblivious to the women around him staring. Maybe he was gay Lily thought.
Lily's attention was diverted from studying his bronze body by screams, blood curdling, life altering screams. A Spanish maid was running from an apartment block. "El Auxilio! El cadaver!" The only two words Lily could make out from the maid's garbled crying and from the speed in which she spoke.
"Help! A dead body!" Lily thought in her head, she knew basic Spanish from school. She pushed herself up from her sunbed, a crowd had gathered near the maid who had fallen to the floor sobbing uncontrollably. Lily saw what appeared to be managerial staff descending the steps of the main hotel, missing steps as they raced to the scene.
What followed was chaos, the apartment block was closed, a crowd had gathered and the police had been called. It was serious, Lily's relaxing holiday had suddenly became the scene of a vicious murder.
