Once you realize they're just kids who have nobody to look out for them, you decide to take them home to care for as your own. This was inspired by the smiling critters x mother figure reader stories, I thought it would be fitting to give the nightmare critters a father figure. And there will be some self improvement on the critters' part.

Factory's toys were created around the same time-Doey the Doughman and Sweetie Confetti-Cake. They were both mascots of a feature Playtime Co. had. Doey was Playtime's mascot for their famous Doey Dough whilst Sweetie was the mascot for Sweets Confection Cafe, a pastry shop built in Playcare. However, despite being released around the same week, one toy received more attention than the other. Many children preferred Doey the Doughman over Sweetie and to fix the issue, Playtime made the two figures partners. They narrated that Doey loved Sweetie's desserts while Sweetie needed a permanent taste-tester. At first, many children loved the duo. But a month later, Sweetie Confetti-Cake would get many complaints. Finally, Playtime Co. did something it should've done from the beginning - discontinue Sweetie. A young child named [Name] was a big fan of Sweetie. Once she heard of the news of her favorite toy being discontinued, she was crushed.
