Summer of 2014. Nothing to be done, except for: 1) swimming at the pool 2) hanging out with friends 3) going to some foreign country or U.S.A. state. 4) daydreaming about the love of your life 5) just sitting, doing nothing, and spending you summer being bored with crap to do 6) getting a job, so you can get some moolah 7) the list goes on and on, so there really isn't any point to keep naming them All of those points apply (except for 3 and 7) to me, Pug. Yes, my NICKname is Pug, but my real name is Jackie Maeve. The name "Jackie" sounds like a boy's name, but I'm a girl; Pug kinda sounds like boy-ish name, but it's cute. I'm a 5'2 dark-brown haired girl with dreams to end up with the love of my life. I'm a pure romantic, who swoons over romantic movies, loves sour gummy worms and dogs, and loves all her friends like family. To provide a synopsis, I just got out of middle school, and it's the hot, scorching time of the beloved summer; this a story about how a 14 year old girl who walks with her friends in the summer heat, notices an icecream truck, gets an icecream cone from an icecream truck, abruptly crashes into a guy as she turns around, and drops her nice, cold cone onto his shirt. PERFECT. That was the very first meeting between Jackie "Pug" Maeve and Lewis "Boo" Aymos. She meets more guys, and she ends up in this really big mess. All in all, this a cute romance story. (B.T.W. Just because one guy was mentioned in the intro, doesn't mean the protagonist ends up with him. . . ^-^)
