"I don't know if you've looked, but I'm pretty hard to miss, sweetheart. You must not have been paying attention," He turned to walk away, breaking eye contact. "You're insufferable!" I yelled after him, after a pause. He looked back at me. And he winked. And he turned a corner with a wave.
