This is a AU where Porpentina "Tina" tries to adopt Credence and take him away from his mother. One meeting in the fall changes the fate of a young abused boy. However, will he learn how to control the power within him, or will he be taken away by his mother and forced into concealing his true nature? Read to find out.

1926 New York and young British witch Samantha Adgate is catapulted into a whirlwind adventure alongside the Goldstein sisters and a curious man. However, the adventure draws out secrets about Samantha that were meant to be forgotten and this means that she has to make a choice about her future at MACUSA or the happiness that comes from her newfound friends.
