Historias de Portes

Djorndo allait fêter ses dix-sept ans. Chez les Twar, son peuple, c'était l'âge de la majorité. Et chez eux, devenir adulte, c'était synonyme de « l'Épreuve ». Chaque garçon devenu adulte devait quitter l'île, et partir en quête de deux reliques, deux clefs, permettant d'ouvrir les Portes du Non-Retour. Tout les hommes ayant entrepris ce voyage revinrent sans avoir ouvert les Portes, mais en possession d'un grand savoir, à force de côtoyer nombres de peuples. C'était le principal but de l'Épreuve. Malgré cela, certains n'en revinrent jamais, ayant décider de s'installer ailleurs, d'autres parce qu'ils étaient tout simplement morts. Djorndo, quand à lui, ne se doutait pas que sa quête pour trouver les Portes du Non-Retour allait le mener à voir de sombres choses. En effet, un mal étrange rongeait le monde, et il était peut-être le seul être capable de l'empêcher de se propager hors des Portes...
