Alexander and porus A play depicting the war at the Hydaspas river Introduction Alexander after defeating Parsian, is on quest for his next destination, India. With the strong army of 30000 soldiers, he arrives at Indus River. While Ambi avoided the war by joining Alexendar army, the Warrier King Porus of Pureva decided to face Alexendar The Great. This play shows the courage that Kimg Porus demonstrated through out the war. His bravery not only saved his own kingdom, but blunted further advances of Alexander in India. He would always be remembered as a king who refused to surrender before a force like Alexander The Great. Note: Dialog are kept simple so that children from 5-7 years age kid can participate.
