She said raising her chin with a challenge in her tone. He leaned closer his tone gentle. "Main aapke nakhre bhi utha lunga"...He said it not like a promise, but a vow. She glanced at him just for a second before looking away again. "Overthink karne ki...bahut buri aadat hai mujhe." His voice dropped a little as he whispered in her ear. "Toh main over explain karne ki achi aadat bana lunga". Silence stretched between them. Yashasvi turned to face him, mock anger visible in her eyes. " Main tumhari pitaai kar dungi" He laughed softly, his eyes twinkled. "Kar do na....issi bahane haath to lagaogi" He winked playfully, and for a fleeting second her lips curved despite herself. But then her voice dropped. "Main baat baat pe rone lag jati hoon" . She said looking down, her voice barely above a whisper. He paused for a moment. "Toh hum dono sath me ro lenge". There was something raw in the way he said it. She blinked fast, fighting the lump in her throat. " Main aapse kabhi pyaar nahi karungi". Her voice firm but trembling. Advik stepped closer and wrapped his arms around her waist looking straight in her eyes. "Aap bas saans lijiye madam jii....aapse pyaar hum kar lenge".

the man closes the scratched door quietly. he slumps down on the chair, rubbing his temples in an attempt to calm his headache. the days have been getting worse for a while, now hes just a shell of what he was a few months ago. hes managed to stay positive for now, but everythings starting to crumble around him even more. eventually, he manages to gather himself. he raises his gaze from his knees to the pile of mail on the desk in front of him. he exhales sharply and starts going through it, making sure to read every one of the letters carefully. most are bills, ones he knows he wont be able to pay. others are advertisements, a few are just weird junk. he tries not to think about whats missing: letters from friends, family, or even just acquantances. he pushes that out of his mind, an action that hes gotten much better at over the last couple of months. eventually his eyes stop at the thickest envelope of the pile. its fancy paper, he could tell, and the seal is dark. the fancy, decorated letters "a" and "w" lock the letter inside the beautiful envelope. the mans mind empties. quickly, he manages to get the letter open with his shaking hands. it takes him a few minutes to read the content, but about four to process it. when he finally does, a huge, nervous smile spreads across his face. he practically jumps up from the chair and starts running around the small, dirty room, collecting every single thing he owns, which he stuffs in a small suitcase. this doesn't take him long, and soon he's already standing under the doorframe. taking one last look at his now former home, he throws the keys on the bed and closes the door.
