The 5 percent of humans that escaped live on the last few islands where they have found shelter. Sent out on a scavenger mission, Shai and his friends head to the mainland. It was simple. Go in. Get supplies. Get out. To make things easier the area was bombed to keep the infected at bay. Yet, things go awry as for some reason not only infected but also infectors, a far more advanced and formidable foe, turn up The battle for survival begins. And like every battle, it's not a pretty one. As the teens race to safety they find themselves running out of time in a world where the number one rule is: just don't get bit.

Stuck in a crumbling America, two siblings must travel not only find a safe haven but to make sure they can fight an illness quickly taking hold of one of them. The world has fallen to pieces. War has broken out and nowhere is safe. People are dying in the streets. And, in the middle of all of it are Elliot and Mallory, two siblings who have no home, no friends and no hope of surviving in this new world. Acting off a tip, they're forced to travel across this wartorn world in order to help save Mallory, who needs to find someone to help cure her unknown disease. Both siblings hope they can travel safely through states, across borders, and through a destroyed world without getting caught, or worse, getting killed.

A small, insignificant character, with no body, mind or anything, really, beckons you. Begs you, even, to give them a life, an identity - something to go by and feel. Paint them adventures, give them something to live for - give them love they so desperately want. And heck, just maybe, they'll stop writing that goddamned awful poetry. Based off a tumblr post.
