The world did not end in an instant. It ended slowly-quietly-like something dying while still pretending to live. Serein Valdez learned to survive in that silence. Not because she was strong, but because she paid attention to things other people ignored. She learned how to move through ruined cities, how to avoid danger before it showed itself, and how to stay invisible long enough to live another day. She never planned to get involved with anyone. Especially not him. Leviandro Solenne is the kind of man who survives without asking permission from the world. Former military. Controlled. Detached. A man who moves like every decision has already been made long before it happens. When Serein finds him surrounded in the ruins-outnumbered, cornered, seconds away from death-she knows she should walk away. She doesn't. That single moment binds them in a world that punishes mistakes and calls attachment a weakness. He doesn't trust her. She shouldn't have saved him. But in a place where survival is no longer about strength alone, but about choice, instinct, and consequence- leaving each other becomes harder than surviving the world itself. And when the quiet finally ends, what's left behind is not just destruction. But the things they were never supposed to feel.

And Ryujin is supposed to be the Prime Minister? What? Must he try to get into the emperor's good graces? In what bullshit novel did he suddenly-oh, it's not an isekai or transmigration? "Your Majesty! There's a misunderstanding! Don't send me to the frontlines. I'm not Awakened!" The seasoned player of "Abyss of Stars," the [Starfall Master] Li Zi, brings a system template and travels to the game's world, arriving in the era of the game's beta version. This is the worst of times. The cosmic forces and conglomerates collude, causing the doors to the universe to be closed, the planet's resources to be exhausted, and even sunlight to be monopolized. This is also the best of times. All the extraordinary systems are just beginning. In this era, he is the only [Starfall Master] with the final version patch. While people are enthralled by the smoke of plasma guns and cannons, Li Zi has already torn apart battleships with gravity. While superhumans are smug about their awakened abilities, moonlight has already become Li Zi's servant. While the interstellar fleet crosses the Milky Way, Li Zi has just ignited the forty-second star, illuminating the entire universe. "People have been trapped on the ground for too long; they've forgotten that this starry sky should belong to all of us." -Facing the unspeakable aboriginal evil gods, Li Zi, holding a black hole, gently said. Instead, in this setting, the Wasteland, which was once Eastern Europe, is riddled with factions inspired by real life extremist groups, each clinging to their own perverted and degenerate creed, hence the title of this book. The water made her. The water never let her go. Brooke Kowalczyk has three things on her mind: her best friends, her relay team, and the IHSA Girls State Championship at FMC Natatorium. November 15-16, 2024. Two days that will define her senior year. She doesn't know they're also the last normal days of her life. Six months later, a virus called TSJ reaches the United States from Europe. It spreads through bites and blood. It turns the dead into something fast, aggressive, and hungrier than anything Brooke has ever faced. The military calls it an outbreak. The internet calls it the zombie apocalypse. Brooke calls it the end of everything she knew. But she's a swimmer. She knows how to hold her breath when the world tries to drown her. She knows how to keep moving when every muscle screams to stop. She knows that the water doesn't care about fear - it only cares about the weight you bring into it. From the suburbs of Hinsdale to the flooded ruins of Chicago to the frozen shores of Lake Superior, Brooke must navigate a slow-burn collapse that doesn't happen in a single explosion - it happens in phone calls that drop and never reconnect, in neighbors who disappear in white vans, in the silence when the power goes out for good. She'll lose things she never thought she could lose. She'll discover strengths she never knew she had. And through it all, the water will hold her. Or it will pull her under. The only question is: how much weight can she carry?

𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞: (please read) This story is an original work inspired by themes and aesthetics from the Splatoon universe. It does not include any official Splatoon characters that I will introduce in the next book I plan to write. This fan-inspired project is created purely for entertainment and sets the stage for a connected trilogy for Splatoon. Echoes of Freedom - Origin Files begins not with ruins, but with revelation. This is a character-driven journey-Axol is his own person, with a mind shattered by war and choices only he can make. This is the story of Axol. The survivor. The one who remembers everything for now. You know, Most tales begin with someone waking up in a world already changed and being their new life. But not this one. Earth, 12,000 years later, after the flood, the new world belonged to creatures called Inklings & Octarians. Color is warfare. They battle across the cities, never questioning what sleeps below. But this story begins long before the oceans rose, before the skies split. Before humanity fell beneath its own ambition. Memory has roots. Truth doesn't stay buried forever. So let's go back 12,000 years before history was rewritten, where Axol had a choice, and he was ready to watch the world fall, even if it cost him everything. This isn't the aftermath. This is the origin.

"Civilization has nearly fallen as Blood Storms swept through major cities, monsters of the bloody shadow followed in the storm and killed all that got in their way. Cities are massacred and the storms rage across the planet." It is a two hundred years later and the world has slowly recovered. The might Blood Storm that once covered the entire planet has fractured into thousands of smaller Storms around the world. The countryside is constantly ravaged by Blood Storms, no one goes in them unless they want to travel to another city. Unlike the countryside, cities have a chance to rebuild but mistrust and violence over resources have made it hard for them to come back together. Totalitarian groups formed from old military remnants, promising to save the world but secretly want it to stay fractured just for their own gain of power in the seat. Groups formed outside these cities, fighting for survival, Raiders attack in the night and melee becomes the new combat norm. Storm Sickness ravages large populations. They are discriminated against and hated against, considered a different race other than humans. Sanctuaries formed to protect the sick. The Kreed sit as the only group that can stop the Rymar's advance against the Sick. And in all of this mayhem, murder, chaos and misery, Kade Malken and Rovan Kreesh's stories shall unfold.

"Resilience is the irrefutable buffer between man and beast." Liv spent her entire adolescence in pursuit of treasures unknown with nothing but her fists. In the ruins of a once bustling metropolis near Central South America, the only company she's afforded is a pragmatic set of sentient gauntlets that insists on being called her "boss". After a decade of (mostly) solitude, a mother who died when she was young, a father she never knew, and a system of tunnels stretching across the underbelly of her city; Liv explodes to the forefront of the demon hunting, continent spanning Hellfire Initiative's radar... Literally. In a world filled with desperate people, portals to horrifying worlds- colloquially called "Stratas"- complex powers, man eating demons, and figures lurking in the shadows: Liv will be forced to acclimate to this new, foreign way of life while climbing the ladder that is the brutal Initiative. EXPECT: A lot of Combat A protagonist exploring an unfamiliar world Shonen meets Modern Dystopia. A strange, in depth power system that will be exploited. High stake fights against human and monsters. Long(ish) chapters. Most chapters range from 2000-3000 words; though, I try to go back and edit where I can. What would you do if you woke up in a dead world- and someone started knocking at your door? Nova Quinn has survived alone for nearly four years. No people. No voices. No signs of life. Just a ruined city, a journal full of days, and four silent crows watching from a wire. She's the last one left... or so she thought. One morning, there's a knock on her door. No footsteps. No faces. Just a voice-whispering her name. A name no one should know. Now, the silence isn't safe anymore. As Nova begins to unravel the mystery behind the knock, she discovers footprints where no one has walked, reflections that move on their own, and journal entries she never wrote. Someone-or something-is watching her... and it remembers the world differently than she does. The deeper she digs, the more the rules of reality twist. And behind it all waits a final door, knocking from both sides.

Aliens from a distant galaxy come, with superior technology in their hands and greed in their hearts. Unprepared for this strange new power, TAPOPS and its allies fail to repel the invasion, and the Milky Way is subjected to a cruel, iron-fisted rule. The fire of resistance-of course there's a resistance, there always is and always will be, because some people will never turn a blind eye to injustice-is ruthlessly stamped out. Some sparks remain, scattered. How long before they flicker out? *** - Boboiboy fanfic. A set of oneshots organized in a non-linear narrative. - Premise inspired by Vietnamese history, particularly the French occupation period (not a fun time for the commonfolk). - No romance except between canon couples (eg. Amato and his wife), no NSFW, graphic depictions of violence, major character death, more warnings at the start of each chapter. - Cover made by myself. And as a non-artist, can I just say: never again.

Before kings and empires, before mankind walked beneath the stars, there was a song-divine, broken, and eternal. From the first breath of Consciousness to the fall of gods and the rise of mortals, The Divine Requiem Saga weaves a mythic chronicle of a world forever caught in a cycle of creation and collapse. Across eons, civilizations rise from sacred flame and fall to ash. Ancient powers stir in forgotten realms. And as the Age of Conquest dawns, the echoes of a primordial war whisper once more. This is not a tale of heroes. This is the memory of a world-sung through time, bound by fate, and written in requiem. Author's Note / Disclaimer As this story continues to unfold, I am constantly developing new ideas, refining characters, and expanding the world. Because of this, earlier chapters may occasionally be revised or updated to better align with the direction the story is taking. I understand that this can be a bit disorienting for readers who are following along in real time, and I sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding when changes occur. What you're experiencing is the story as it is being shaped and discovered, not just told. As the narrative progresses, I will make every effort to solidify earlier chapters so that they remain consistent moving forward. Thank you for being part of this journey and for growing with the story as it evolves.
