Post-apocalypticsurvival Stories

After the wife of a scientist dies due to cancer the scientist sets a goal, find a cure so that no other families have to go through what he and his young son had to go through. He finds a "cure" but it results in an apocalypse that wipes out much of the human population, and creates flesh-eating monsters that have the ability to pass the disease to uninfected humans. The scientist and his son, as well as some family, friends and other survivors the group meets along the way try their best to help keep each other alive in the now extremely shitty world they're living in. This is a story that I am completely creating on my own, it's not a fanfic. Everything in it is my own stuff. The only thing for this story that isn't mine is the cover design, it was made by @Ninja-Of-Creation
